‘I’ll watch him anywhere,’ one loyal Coco fan tells MTV News. It’s quite a turnaround for the floppy-haired comedian, and it remains to be seen if his move to TBS leads to a resurgence or irrelevance. Only time … and ratings … and talent bookings … and continued pop-culture relevance … and any number of other factors will tell. For now, all we can do is follow Conan’s live theatrical comedy tour , read his tweets and wonder what might be. Joining MTV News in such speculation are some of Conan’s fans, who were roaming Times Square after the TBS news broke and who shared their thoughts on the move with us. “I don’t really know what a TBS is,” deadpanned Kenna Udemba, neatly encapsulating Team Coco’s biggest problem as they try to attract eyeballs for the November launch of the new show. “I never really heard of it. I don’t think I’ll be watching it.” Others, however, have vowed to seek out O’Brien wherever and whenever he pops up on the boob tube. “I will totally watch Conan on TBS,” Jierra Clark declared. “I’ll watch him anywhere. He was always my favorite. I think he’s hilarious, and I miss him.” Adam Francique seconded that all-for-Coco-and-Coco-for-all sentiment. “I think he had a specific audience, not just the NBC audience,” he said. “I think his crew is going to go straight from NBC to TBS.” And once there, viewers will find a channel that’s strived to brand itself as a destination for comedy, from its syndicated offerings like “Family Guy” and “The Office” to the original show “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” to its burgeoning late-night lineup of Conan at 11 p.m. and “Lopez Tonight” at midnight. “I think it’s a good double-header,” Jessica Dub
