Source: VH1 LHHMia / VH1 “Love And Hip Hop Miami” Season 2 Premiere Clip Mona’s Miami based, brutally brash cast is back. “Love And Hip Hop Miami” returns to television tonight, January 2, at 8 p.m. and VH1’s released a 6-minute sneak peek. In it we see Trina speaking at Rico Love’s music college as a mentor to young female rappers. While there she says that she’s having issues recording her T&T project with fellow Slip N-Slider Trick Daddy because Trick’s been uncooperative. “I’m doing everything, he’s not showing up,” says Trina who warns that there might be a Trick and Trina war on their hands. Later “America’s favorite villain” Young Hollywood appears and talks to a now clean (from cocaine) Gunplay who says Amara La Negra’s been in his DMs. Ohhh??? Legendary ringside announcer “Mean” Gene Okerlund has passed away at age 76. WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Gene Okerlund, the most recognizable interviewer in sports-entertainment history, has passed away at age 76. https://t.co/DyPiEiVLoV — WWE (@WWE) January 2, 2019 In his early days, “Mean Gene”, as he was named by fellow Minnesotan, Jesse “The Body” Ventura first came to prominence by interviewing the greatest stars of the AWA, including Ventura, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan and Hulk Hogan. In 1984, Okerlund made the move to WWE where he became a staple on national cable television by continuing to interview the biggest names in sports-entertainment like Hogan, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior and many more. Okerlund branched out from interviewing by providing ringside commentary and hosting several shows, including All-American Wrestling, Tuesday Night Titans, Wrestling Challenge and Prime Time Wrestling. Announcing wasn’t all that Okerlund could do with a microphone, as his distinct voice sung the National Anthem at the first WrestleMania in 1985. Later that year, Okerlund would sing “Tutti Frutti” on WWE’s The Wrestling Album. Actress married financial planner Tom Vitale on New Year’s Day. The actress married her beau of seven years, financial planner Tom Vitale. “We’re so happy!” Bertinelli told the website about her new relationship status. The couple’s New Year’s Day wedding took place at their Malibu home in front of 100 friends and family, including Bertinelli’s ex, Van Halen frontman Eddie Van Halen, as well as their son, Wolfgang. Other wedding guests included Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick from “Hot in Cleveland,” as well as Mackenzie Phillips and Pat Harrington from her hit ’70s sitcom, “One Day at a Time.” The duo got engaged in March while on vacation in Italy. “I’ve never had a male friend like I have with Tom,” she said in May about her relationship with Vitale, according to UsMagazine.com . Bertinelli and Van Halen split in 2005 after nearly 25 years together. “We’re both still a little afraid of commitment, but then we were over there, and it was like our souls were calibrated. … If the timing wasn’t right, I wouldn’t have asked,” Bertinelli said after she and Vitale got engaged. “If my life wasn’t starting to turn around, I couldn’t have welcomed [Vitale] into it.” He added, “We just understood each other completely. … My family is her family. It wasn’t love at first sight; it was family at first sight.” In an interview with AARP magazine, Bertinelli admitted that Vitale loved her no matter what she looked like, according to People.com . “I’ve never felt more beautiful at any weight than when Tom looks at me,” she explained. “He loved me no matter what. In his way, he’s teaching me to love myself just as I am.”
