A normal person would not want their name associated with Bill Cosby. Not in 2019. R. Kelly is, by every conceivable metric, not a normal person. The disgraced R&B singer is under criminal investigation , and he’s turning to Cosby’s “fixers” to keep him out of jail. RadarOnline reports that R. Kelly has hired the same team of “fixers” that Bill Cosby had allegedly used to try to silence his own enemies. These would be professionals in a number of fields who might understand how to persuade multiple accusers to go silent or even recant. “They’re ready to do just about anything to get him off the hook,” the insider characterizes. The source continues, noting that these professionals intend to succeed “even if it means using fear tactics.” We’re not sure what fear tactics means in this context. But it could mean intimidation, routine harassment, surveillance, or even blackmail of current or potential witnesses. The disgraced 52-year-old R&B singer is said to have reached out to these “fixers” after the harrowing documentary aired. Surviving R. Kelly paints a terrifying portrait of what it is like to be a victim of R. Kelly’s alleged sexual predation and his violent sex cult. Everyone is talking about it, and the public interest and public pressure have pushed law enforcement to investigate the creep. This has backed R. Kely into a corner more than any past efforts have managed. R. Kelly has reportedly vowed to “sue everybody” involved with the Lifetime docuseries, clearly hoping to silence his critics. Kelly was willing to do so much more than just threaten legal actions. As TMZ reported, Kelly planned to leak the sex tapes of the survivors who spoke out against him. A team reportedly working for him launched a website, ironically named survivinglies . That is clear retaliation and sounds like revenge porn, which is illegal for good reason. The singer’s attorneys stepped in and closed down the site. “They were afraid of lawsuits,” the insider explains. The source continues: “especially after they learned the team planned to use it to feature a revenge-porn video.” This video, the insider says, would have been “featuring one of his victims consenting to sex.” R. Kelly has been accused of having used grooming, violence, starvation, and psychological manipulation to keep multiple women obedient and afraid. A video of a woman giving some sort of verbal consent would not have disproved any accusations. Instead, the tactic would have discouraged other women from coming forward for fear of having their own nightmares broadcast on the internet. But thankfully, not only were plans for the site scrapped, but even a Facebook page devoted to the site was taken down. “We do not tolerate bullying or sharing other’s private contact information,” Facebook explained in a statement. Facebook continued: “and take action on content that violates our policies as soon as we’re aware.” Legal prosecutions, especially of complicated sex crimes that took place over years and decades, can be difficult to prosecute. Additional witnesses may be reluctant to come forward because society and especially R. Kelly fans may not want to hear what they have to say. Let’s get this out of the way up front: Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are husband and wife. We’re sorry to break it to you, teenage women around the globe, but it’s true. The superstars shocked their fans this past summer when first they got engaged and then, just several weeks later, they stopped by a courthouse in New York City and exchanged vows. It was casual. It was informal. It was confusing, at first at least. Did the couple actually get hitched? Or merely get their wedding license? In October, however, Baldwin confiirmed that she was , indeed, Mrs. Justin Bieber. Again: we’re very sorry, basically every woman on the planet under the age of 25. It’s long been rumored, however, that Bieber and Baldwin were going to hold an actual wedding ceremony, including a giant celebration with family members, friends and loved ones. According to TMZ, this ceremony and reception is now planned. Insiders close to the famous couple say that the big day will take place on the weekend of March 1. As loyal Beliebers know, of course, this is the date on which Bieber turns 25. Moreover, these second round of nuptials will reportedly take place in Los Angeles; or at least the Los Angeles area. Why would Hailey and Justin make this decision, considering most of Bieber’s family resides on the East Coast or in Canada? It’s simple, TMZ writes: the weather sucks on those regions in late winter! We’re not being harsh here, we’re just stating a meterological fact. Lastly, this report emphasizes that the ceremony will be heavily in religious in nature, which does make a lot of sense: The courthouse wedding was quick and strictly legal, while Justin and Hailey have embraced God and faith more than ever these days. As for who will be invited? This may be the most sought-after wedding invitation since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot. But all we know for now is that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are invited. Which is just, like, okay, sure, whatever. Once the stars go public as husband and wife, the question will then turn to when Bieber and Baldwin will have children. They’re young, but it sounds as if this may happen in the very near future. “I love kids,” Baldwin told Vogue in November . “I can’t wait to have my own.” She didn’t elaborate on when this might happen, on when Bieber’s sperm will fertilize her egg, but Hailey did say that being a mother is “closer [to] reality” now than ever before. Morgan was raised in Bed-Stuy and has given back to the community and was joined by his family and friends at the ceremony, which also fell on his 50th birthday. Six strangers got married on television on Tuesday night. And millions of viewers thought it was totally normal. Welcome to the Season 7 premiere of Lifetime’s Married at First Sight! The concept of this unique program is right there in the title, as three Dallas-based couples came together on this opening episode to say “I Do,” despite having never laid eyes on each other before. But this didn’t stop one twosome from wanting to get laid pretty much right away. Isn’t that right, Dave Flaherty and Amber Martorana? A 36-year old Division Order Analyst and 37-year old portfolio manager, both Amber and Dave had similar “lifestyle and lifetime goals,” according to the show. They’re each very into routines and each want to start a family sooner than later. Granted, Amber threw up at her bachelorette party… but she was excited on her wedding day to meet the man she was all set up to wed. “This is easily one of the most intense moments of my life,” David said on his big day, relieved to find Amber very attractive — and shocked to learn they belonged to the same gym. She said “one of the worst guys (she has) dated” attends that gym, and it would be “embarrassing” for Dave to find out. The newlyweds totally wanted to bone right away, too, although Amber had promised her mom she wouldn’t French Kiss her new husband at the ceremony. Still, they both were eager to get back to their suite and have sex for the first time. As for Danielle Bergman and Bobby Dodd? The former wanted a southern gentleman in the market for a wife and a family and a chance to settle down. Who doesn’t, right?!? Dodd’s family was in support of this strange union, but Danielle’s family was far more hesitant, with her mom refusing to even go wedding dress shopping with her daughter. Thankfully, however, she showed up for the wedding. “I just feel so relieved,” Danielle said when her mom walked in for the event. “I can finally be excited about the most important day of my life.” Fitting right into that gentleman mode, Dodd made a point of stopping on his way down the aisle and greeting everyone on Danielle’s side, particularly her mom. “I got my southern gentleman,” Danielle said. “I am very, very happy.” And Bobby was psyched as well, most notably when he got to kiss his wife for the first time at the altar. “It was the best kiss I ever had,” he said. And these two also wanted to head straight to Pound Town, as Danielle told viewers she got a bikini wax for the occasion. “It’s not wrong if you’re married,” she joked. Finally, we move on to Mia Bally and Tristan Thompson. No, not that Tristan Thompson . Both Mia and Tristan were deeply faithful and very good looking people, hence the idea that they would hit it off. Not that Bally’s loved ones were on board at all. “I don’t really feel good about the process, I think it’s crazy,” Mia’s sister said during Bally’s bachelorette party, adding: “What if you don’t like each other, you don’t get along, he doesn’t want to work it out? I’m going to support you regardless… I just don’t want you to get f-ced over. I don’t want you to get your heart broken again! It sucks, and you know that!” Still, Mia’s family wasin attendance for the wedding. During the ceremony, Tristan was excited to learn his wife was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. It’s been over six months since the world learned that Jinger Duggar is pregnant with her first child . The announcement came much later than expected, not only because Jinger broke the Duggar tradition of getting pregnant almost immediately after saying “I do,” but also because she waited until her second trimester to share the news with fans. Now, it looks as though Jeremy and Jinger might be keeping yet another big secret from their adoring public. Jeremy posted the above photo to his Instagram account today, and fans are convinced it’s his way of hinting that Jinger is knocked up. It’s a bit of a stretch, but the theory goes something like this: As you can see, that’s the most recent photo of Jinger’s baby bump. She usually posts just about every day, but this pic is several days old. So Jeremy posted a slightly outdated image, along with a caption reading simply, “ETA: Soon.” Again, hardly a definitive announcement, but we suppose it’s not hard to see why some fans have jumped to conclusions. “Is she in labor?!” one fan asked point-blank. “Hope she’s in labor and has a smooth delivery!” another remarked. Several fans cut right to the chase and commented simply, “Congrats!” The Vuolos have yet to respond. And that’s interesting, as many fans think this is a case in which their silence speaks volumes. But even more interesting is the fact that Jeremy’s pic launched an intense conversation about the sinfulness of iWatches. Yes, iWatches. Apparently, two of Jeremy’s nuttier followers believe the popular Apple device is the work of the devil, and since Jinger is wearing one in the pic, they figured this would be the perfect time to share that opinion. “You can’t evolve and love thy God … I don’t believe in it. John-David Duggar has apparently come out of the closet. No, not like that . You do know which famous family he’s a part of, right? Last summer, though, we EXCLUSIVELY reported that John-David was involved in a secret courtship . That may or may not have been the case at the time. But now this Counting On cast member has gone public with a verified courtship, confirming to Us Weekly that he has taken this very, very serious step with Abbie Grace Burnett. “Abbie and I are just so excited, we’ve known of each other for several years,” the 28-year-old told the aforementioned tabloid of this relationship, adding: “We fell in love very quickly and it’s been a wonderful journey thus far.” This exciting piece of news comes about two years after Jinger Duggar sort of claimed that her brother was involved with some other woman, as questions about John-David’s love life have been plaguing the Internet for a long time now. The guy is 28 years old after all. That’s like retirement age for the Duggars in terms of courting, marrying and then having many babies. He’s fallen way behind already! This comes as little surprise to anyone familiar with John-David, as he’s considered the most quiet of almost all Duggars and perhaps the one least interested in the spotlight. John-David is Michelle and Jim Bob’s second-oldest son, the twin brother of fan favorite Jana Duggar… yet you probably know very little about him. He works as a pilot, firefighter and sheriff’s deputy and he sometimes clashes with his conversation/controlling father. There’s even been talk that Duggar may walk away from reality television entirely ! Abbie, who is 26, says the following to Us Weekly about when her love first bloomed for this reluctant TLC cast member: “John flew in for a church event here in Oklahoma where I’m from. We really got connected then.” Well… okay then! We see that she is a woman of few words. No wonder these two get along so well! According to the now-defunct BurnettFamily10 blog that was once run by Burnett’s family, Abbie had seven siblings as of 2010, including a brother whose hyphenated name is strikingly similar to that of her future husband. On the archived “About” section of this since-deleted blog, her siblings are listed as John-Clay, Hannah, Caleb, Charity, twins Maggie and Carinna and Benjamin. And according to the TLC website, Abbie works as a nurse, which makes her a perfect match for volunteer first responder John-David. She also resides in Oklahoma, while John-David lives in Arkansas with his family. We wonder where they will live if they get married. “Big news! #JohnDavidDuggar has a special someone,” wrote TLC on its official Instagram account this week, adding as a tease: “Visit TLCme.com to meet the happy couple, and learn more about #AbbieBurnett.” Wow. She has her own hashtag. This really must be serious! John-David one quipped that he’ll be a “bachelor until the rapture,” so he truly must have intense feelings for Abbie. Cardi B and Offset are expecting their first child and the public believed that the two were engaged. They are not. As it turns out, Cardi and Offset got married in a secret wedding ceremony … all the way back in September of 2017. The public engagement that we all saw was just a sham. Sounds fake, right? But Cardi herself has confirmed the news. Take a look: Cardi B prefaced her confirmation by tweeting: “This why i name my album ‘Invasion of privacy’ cause people will do the most to be nosey about your life,” she wrote, commenting on one of the great pitfalls of being a celebrity. Cardi then went on to express a degree of fatalism about how fans can be intrusive. Succinctly, she wrote: “Welp f–k it.” “There are so many moments that I share with the world,” Cardi’s tweet began. That makes sense, given that she’s on social media in the first place. The “Bodak Yellow” singer goes on to explain that she still very much values her privacy. “And there are moments,” Cardi writes. “that I want to keep for myself!” That makes sense. She may be a public figure — and by choice — but she still has a right to privacy. Cardi explains: “Getting married was one of those moments!” Note that she says was. As in, she has already done so. She is already confirming what many fans already believed — that she and Offset are not merely engaged, but have gotten married. The wedding was secret, but the marriage is no longer under wraps. Many fans are of course wondering why Cardi would not only keep it private, but have a secret wedding in the first place. She understands that, and so she does the best that she can to explain her reasoning. “Our relationship was so new,” Cardi writes. That is not normally cited as a reason for marriage, but okay. She then describes how the two of them were “breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing to do.” Cardi acknowledges these struggles, “but we [were] so in love.” Ah, yes, love. Usually a healthy component in marriages. “We didn’t want to lose each other,” Cardi explains. Cardi even sheds some light on how this secret wedding went down. “We found someone to marry us,” Cardi writes. “And she did, just the two of us and my cousin.” To clarify, we’re reasonably confident that she’s saying that her cousin is the one who officiated the marriage. Cardi and her cousin did not both marry Offset. Cardi describes the powerful occassion. “I said I do,” Cardi writes. “With no dress, no makeup, and no ring!” Hey, plenty of people have nude weddings. You don’t need a dress to say “yes.” So Cardi explains the very public proposal that Offset made — a proposal that the world now knows was a sham. “I appreciate and love my husband so much for still wanting for me have that special moment that every girl dreams of,” Cardi gushes. She describes “when he got down on his knee and put a ring on my finger and he did that for me!!” (Has anyone else noticed that her writing rhymes a lot?) Cardi finishes her message. “Well now since you lil nosey f–ks know,” Cardi writes with what we assume is a playful tone. “At least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock.” That’s fair. Though that sort of thing really shouldn’t matter. It’s worth noting that Cardi B’s televised wedding , of which so many fans had fantasized, could have been worth $1 million. Did nosy fans screw up that whole idea … or was Cardi never going to have a big, official wedding anyway? Congratulations to Cardi on her secretly wedded bliss.
