Selena Gomez Takes Beyonce’s Crown as New Queen of Instagram!

Selena Gomez turned 26 over the weekend, and the photos from her birthday bash were dazzling. The pics were so good, in fact, that the Instagram “likes” poured in with dizzying alacrity.  Selena’s birthday post got so much love so quickly that it absolutely destroyed the previous record … which had belonged to Beyonce herself. While Hailey Baldwin enjoys Justin Bieber , for better or for worse, Selena Gomez is living her best life. It’s what she deserves. Remember how Beyonce broke the internet with her twin reveal photo? That pic received a staggering 7.8 million in only 12 hours. The pregnancy reveal pic that preceded it received 6.4 million within the first few hours. Beyonce is a powerhouse, there’s no question. But when the battleground is Instagram, Selena has no equal. It took Selena’s birthday party post only 13 minutes to reach 1 million likes. (The number of likes is currently near 9 million and will likely grow by the time that you even finish reading this sentence) That’s no real surprise. Selena Gomez has been the reigning champion when it comes to Instagram followers for some time. She is a social media titan and the one to beat. Even those who come close — like Ariana Grande, Christiano Ronaldo, and Beyonce — can’t quite surpass her follower count. Not yet, anyway. Selena is also paid more for Instagram ads. We all know that Instagram follower counts matter for more than just bragging rights and branding. Celebrities, no matter how wealthy, can make a small fortune with a few normal photos of themselves, promoting one product or another. Selena Gomez apparently makes a whopping $800,000 per Instagram endorsement. That means that she takes a photo wearing or holding a brand and makes more than three quarters of a million dollars. Beyonce makes $700,000 per photo. Of course, price is based upon more than just follower counts. It also has a lot to do with things like social media engagement. When it comes to Instagram ad prices, nobody beats out Kylie Jenner — who maks rakes in $1 million per pic. It’s easy to frame this conversation as a competition. A competition between Selena and Kylie over who makes the most per Instagram ad. A competition between Beyonce and Selena over who has the most followers, or who got the most likes the fastest. Instead, let’s keep this in perspective. This was a broken record. One day, perhaps very soon, someone else will get a million likes even faster than Selena. Social media is fueled by the people on it, and there are more people every single day who sign up for Instagram and click that like button. So, again, it’s not a competition. Though, if the race to a million likes were a competition … Selena is the current reigning champion. Selena’s 26 birthday is a big deal. Not because 26 is a huge milestone. It isn’t. Every birthday after 21 is a grim reminder that we all grow less socially relevant with each passing day as our bodies begin to fail and crumble beneath the weight of time. No, this birthday is a huge deal because … there were genuine doubts that she would make it this far. She has been battling Lupus for years. Just a little over a year ago, Selena was rushed to the hospital with kidney failure. Had it not been for a life-saving kidney transplant , it’s unclear if Selena would still be among the living. Kenya Moore: Out of The Real Housewives of Atlanta!

The long-gestating rumors have turned into a reality for Kenya Moore. According to a reliable new report, the veteran reality star will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Chatter over Moore’s role on the Bravo hit has been making the Internet rounds for weeks now. Heck, there was even talk about a month ago that Moore would be fired by producers because she did not want cameras in the room when she gave birth. (Indeed, Kenya is pregnant! How exciting, right?!?) This People Magazine article, however, makes no such grand (and semi-ridiculous) claim. It explains that Moore could not even technically be fired from the series because she was in the middle of a contract negotiation; she was not actually signed for Season 11. And that contract negotiation? It did NOT go smoothly. An insider tells People that production and Moore both wanted her to return as a full-time Housewife. However, she wanted more money than the network was offering, while executives did actually want to film all aspects of her life, most notably the time she spends with husband Marc Daly. Moore stunned fans last summer when she married Daly … … and she also stunned producers, who wanted to film the ceremony. If only they had known about it! But Kenya and Daly famously got eloped in June of 2017 when the Bravo cameras were down, without telling producers. He only appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta once during season 10, for a brief cameo. Moreover: The couple is expecting its first child together (he or she is due before the end of the year), yet Moore kept her entire fertility treatment away from series. Nor did she participate in last season’s cast trip to Barcelona. In other words: we sort of get where the show is coming from here. The whole point of being a cast member is to open up your life to viewers. You can’t pick and choose what aspects you wish to make public, not when you’re getting paid a ton tobe a Real Housewife. “Everyone wanted to have Kenya back, but they wanted to have the old Kenya back – the one who isn’t afraid of the cameras,” a source close to production told the aforementioned publication, adding: “You can’t have secrets and be on reality TV. Especially when other Housewives are showing all of their lives – the good, bad, and the ugly. “They need to see your life.” This report concludes that Daly isn’t really interested in being on the show; that Kenya knows her worth; and that she was fine playing hardball. She can live with this outcome. “Kenya really loves her life with her husband. She’s always wanted to be a wife and a mother, and she’s put all of her focus into her growing family,” the source explains. “She’s not going to jeopardize that for some television show.”

Jinger Duggar Shares New Baby Pic, Inspiration Behind Daughter’s Name

Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo are brand new parents. Just a week ago, the Counting On star welcomed her very first child into the world, a daughter named Felicity. In the days since, Vuolo has made one thing very clear… … having a small baby at home is tiring! The new father shared a couple memes on Monday that joked (but not really) about how coffee is now his best friend and how he’ll never see sleep ever again. Those made us laugh, but not Jinger is here to make us squeal in delight, First, the reality star shared a fresh photo of her child, which we’ve gone ahead and also shared ourself above. She’s so very precious! Second, she opened up at length to Us Weekly about various aspects of (very early) motherhood. Before we get to that, however, a few relevant facts: – Jinger and Jeremy got married in 2016. – At 4:37 a.m. on July 19, the couple became parents to Felicity Nicole Vuolo. – She was born in San Antonio, Texas. – She weighed 8 lbs, 3 ounces at the time and measured 19.5 inches in length. What have these first few days been like as a mother? “It’s been so incredible,” Jinger explains to Us Weekly . “We can’t stop staring at her adorable little face!” Sister Jessa Seewald and mother Michelle Duggar are currently in Texas to lend a hand to the parents, something for whih Jinger is grateful. “I have been so thankful to have so much great help around me, giving me time to rest and recover,” she says. And what about that baby name?  Was Felicity named after the former Keri Russell drama on The WB? No. It “just felt right,” Jinger says, adding that she and Jeremy “loved the name Felicity from the moment we thought of it several months ago. “The name itself means intense happiness or supreme joy. It was also the name of a young Christian girl long ago who valiantly stood strong for her faith.” Wow, who knew?!? We love it. Jinger also thinks that her child resembles her husband and has confirmed that the little girl’s nursey has a southwest theme. Said Jeremy upon meeting Felicity last week: “Both mom and baby are healthy, doing great, and resting well. We are very thankful for her safe arrival and look forward to life as parents!” And, in this case, “God is gracious to entrust us with such a wonderful gift,” gushes Jinger. Donald Trump Interrupts The Bachelorette, Gets Blasted by Furious Fans

Just because you follow  The Bachelorette  Spoilers  and know how things end doesn't mean that you don't want to enjoy the episode in peace. But, this week,  The Bachelorette  was interrupted by the exact opposite of peace — it was an announcement of Donald Trump's Supreme Court pick. And the Bachelor Nation was  pissed . Chris Harrison warned viewers in advance that Trump would be preempting the broadcast. But the Bachelor Nation has been waiting for ages to  watch Colton Underwood tell Becca Kufrin that he's a virgin . Most people get their breaking news from Twitter and their in-depth coverage from online articles these days, so it was understandably difficult for many people to understand why they needed to waste 20 minutes of their lives. And, as you may have heard, Trump isn't exactly hitting any record highs for Presidential popularity. So the Bachelor Nation took to Instagram to vent their fury and frustration. Take a look: 1. Fans were pissed This tweet shows that you can care about politics but still be furious that you’re missing your show. People can do both. 2. Is this evidence of Trump hypocrisy? Honestly, “caring about women” is not really part of his brand. 3. This has happened before Remember when Trump interrupted Bachelor in Paradise? What does he have against the pursuit of love? 4. The language became colorful It takes a lot of audacity to interrupt primetime television and take twenty entire minutes to read one name. 5. Trump was not what the Bachelor Nation wanted to see Seriously. And now everyone wants to know how Blake’s mom feels about what he decided to share with the world. 6. This is what you’d call a swing voter That’s probably an easy promise to make. Jinger Duggar on Giving Birth: I’m Terrified, Y’all!

Not long after the world learned that Jinger Duggar is pregnant , the beloved reality star revealed her due date to be sometime in early July. Now, we suppose different folks have different definitions, but for most people, that would mean any date between July 1 and July 15. What we’re saying is, if it’s not already passed, Jinger’s due date is very, very close. And it seems that even though birthing and child-rearing have pretty much been parts of her day-to-day life since childhood, Jinger is currently experiencing the heady mix of emotions that every first time goes through in the final stages of pregnancy. Speaking with TLC recently, Jinger revealed that she’s more than a little frightened by the prospect of giving birth. “I get scared thinking about birth and labor,” she told her home network. Her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, didn’t offer much in the way of help, admitting that he’s flat-out clueless about the entire process: “I don’t know much about birth,” he said. Like we said, Jinger must know a thing or two about birth, what with having 13 younger siblings and 10 nieces and nephews. But in many ways, she and Jeremy are in uncharted territory. From the very start, they established that their marriage would be different from those of Jinger’s sisters. The most obvious act of rebellion, of course, was Jinger’s decision to begin wearing pants instead of floor-length dresses (with her husband’s permission of course). But the couple also set themselves apart in more subtle ways. Jinger waited a full year after her wedding to get pregnant. Obviously, there’s nothing unusual about that in most cases, but Duggar women typically get pregnant on their honeymoons. And soon, Jinger will become the first Duggar woman of her generation to give birth outside of the great state of Arkansas. Again, that may not seem like a big deal, but the Duggars are second only to the Waltons as Arkansas’ most famous family, and their ties to their hometown are very strong. Anyway, it’s refreshing to see Jinger being so candid about her trepidation — we suppose that’s just one more way in which she’s breaking the mold. Jinger Duggar: Has She Secretly Given Birth?!

It’s been over six months since the world learned that Jinger Duggar is pregnant with her first child . The announcement came much later than expected, not only because Jinger broke the Duggar tradition of getting pregnant almost immediately after saying “I do,” but also because she waited until her second trimester to share the news with fans. Now, it looks as though Jeremy and Jinger might be keeping yet another big secret from their adoring public. Jeremy posted the above photo to his Instagram account today, and fans are convinced it’s his way of hinting that Jinger is knocked up. It’s a bit of a stretch, but the theory goes something like this: As you can see, that’s the most recent photo of Jinger’s baby bump. She usually posts just about every day, but this pic is several days old. So Jeremy posted a slightly outdated image, along with a caption reading simply, “ETA: Soon.” Again, hardly a definitive announcement, but we suppose it’s not hard to see why some fans have jumped to conclusions. “Is she in labor?!” one fan asked point-blank. “Hope she’s in labor and has a smooth delivery!” another remarked. Several fans cut right to the chase and commented simply, “Congrats!” The Vuolos have yet to respond. And that’s interesting, as many fans think this is a case in which their silence speaks volumes. But even more interesting is the fact that Jeremy’s pic launched an intense conversation about the sinfulness of iWatches. Yes, iWatches. Apparently, two of Jeremy’s nuttier followers believe the popular Apple device is the work of the devil, and since Jinger is wearing one in the pic, they figured this would be the perfect time to share that opinion. “You can’t evolve and love thy God … I don’t believe in it. Didn’t evolve from a money or ape and I hope Jinger isn’t evolving either that would be so sad,” wrote Nutjob 1. “iWatch makes sin automatic. Same with the Apple phones,” Nutjob 2 replied, adding: “Pornographers is up 689% since 2007 when Aphone came out. iWatch is going to double that with all the porn on the watch. Men are easily led to lust and women too.” “I would be so sad if she evolved to an ape with an iPhone watch,” sayeth the first nutjob. “In the semen that my Pasture gave today he spoke of the devil that resides in them there iWatches. Just to easy to sin with those things on,” responded her nutty friend. “People getting send pornography on them. Using Siri to satisfy burgers and also losing sight of the lord and focusing too much on time,” the best conversation in the history of the world concluded. You heard the nutjobs! Jinger Duggar Wears Ripped Jeans, Fans Go Ballistic

From James Dean to Bob Dylan, America’s iconic cultural rebels have long made a point of sporting jeans in their most famous photos. But there’s an upper-echelon of non-conformist for whom the mere donning of denim apparel does not constitute a sufficiently defiant middle finger to the khaki-clad establishment. For these fashion freedom fighters, the stakes must be raised, the flesh must be bared–and the jeans must be ripped. Move over, Sid Vicious, and take a seat, Springsteen.  There’s a new maverick in town, and she goes by the name of Jinger Duggar. As you can see (if you look very closely), Jinger is wearing ripped jeans these days, and it’s a very big deal. In fact, given the rapid progression of her personal insurrection, we assume Jinger is just days away from smashing guitars, making crude gestures with bottles of Jack Daniel’s, and telling frightened neighbors to “slag off.” Okay, we’re obviously joking, but believe it or not, some fans are really freaking out over Jinger’s latest fashion statement. We suppose it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, given the fact that Duggar obsessives lost it when Jinger started wearing pants  last winter. But from the reaction to her latest act of sartorial defiance, you’d think the 23-year-old was sporting a non-Duggar approved swimsuit . (Which would be any swimwear that doesn’t look like something a mustachioed gent from the 1920s would wear in a steam room.) The risqué photo was snapped by Jeremy Vuolo, who captioned his work: “Trying my eye behind the lens (it helps having a beautiful subject).” Despite the fact that we’ve already seen Jinger wear shorts, jeans, and above-the-knee skirts–all in defiance of her family’s dress code–this latest style statement is being treated like Jinger’s Sgt. Pepper’s . “So happy for her to decide on her own,” wrote one commenter . “Love the outfit! jeans suit you,” remarked another. A third Instagram follower turned a teary eye to the future and dreamed of a day when Jinger would be permitted to put her Levi-clad extremities on display for a TV audience. “I love her in jeans! Can’t wait to see her Jean outfits on the show hopefully,” the capitalization-happy dreamer commented on the photo. It’s a nice thought, but we wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for that day. Jinger’s decision to wear pants is still regarded by her parents as an act of open rebellion. So as long as Jim Bob continues to call the shots at TLC, we’re guessing his family’s reality show will remain a skirts-only zone. But that’s okay. Fans of Jinger’s style will still have her social media pages, and it looks like she’s planning to continue making bold (by Duggar standards) choices for their enjoyment.
