Fashion Pop Up Shop In NYC Highlighting Up & Coming Designers From Italy A new pop up shop in New York City is highlighting emerging Italian designers from the worlds of fashion, homewares and furniture. The Anteprima pop up shop in SoHo is stocked with vintage mid-century furniture, one of a kind pieces from up and coming Italian fashion brands and household goods traditionally found in family homes in the Mediterranean country. The space includes clothing from designers like Maxfort , whose goal is to make stylish sweaters and outerwear for the men’s big and tall market, and Vanise, which specializes in all things cashmere. Another standout is the belted winter coat from OPI[MO], which is reversible in both charcoal and slate grey. Besides clothing, Anteprima – which means “preview” in Italian – also sells graphic prints from illustrator Alfio Martire and 1960s and 1970s era furniture, including an Instagram worthy red couch shaped like ocean waves. Anteprima is located at 498 Broome Street in NYC and is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Nov. 10. 2019.

The 49-year-old S.W.A.T. star went on The Talk recently and he was seated to Danish actress, model and Flavor Flav ‘s ex-bae Brigitte Nielsen . He was in the middle of talking about his fitness regimen for his CBS show. “You know, you get in the gym, we’re all vain, we want the baby girls to like what they see,” he started. The audience responded with applause and even the co-hosts joined in with Sheryl Underwood saying “We do, we do.” Miss Nielsen was also clapping. This prompted Moore to touch her by the shoulder and tell her, “I like you, a lot. I loved you in Rocky , and now I have a crush on you for real.” Oh okay! Nielsen then proceeded to go in for a hug and when she pulled back, Moore went in for a peck on the lips. Nielsen was so caught off guard that she put her hands on her cheeks and then covered her mouth in shock. Of course, Moore was all smiles as the audience and hosts lost it. Sharon Osbourne had to take things to the next level by saying, “I don’t think she tasted that. She needs another one.” Moore was happy to take on the challenge and he went in for a SECOND and longer kiss. Nielsen clearly felt the impact because after the audience and co-hosts went wild again, they tried to continue conversation as usual, but Miss Brigitte was caught gazing at Shemar. “She ain’t heard a word you said,” joked Underwood. Mind you, Nielsen is a married woman. Wonder what her Italian former model husband Mattia Dessi will have to say about this. You can watch the action for yourself below. This isn’t the first time Moore couldn’t keep his lips from someone he probably just met. In an episode of Ellen , he also kissed a random audience member in order to raise money for cancer research. Meanwhile, Nielsen and Dessi just welcomed their 15-month-old daughter Frida in June 2018, according to People . Surely, mommy will have a story for her daughter after the Shemar Moore smooching experience.

Awful news today out of the world of reality television and cooking: Carl Ruiz, a well-known chef who appeared on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and more of Guy Fieri’s programs, has died in his sleep. He was 44 years old. The tragic news was confirmed on Sunday by social media personality Matt Farah, who was close to Ruiz and who announced that his friend passed away on Saturday night from a heart attack. “I’m heartbroken that my friend chef Carl Ruiz is gone,” Fieri tweeted after the news went public. He added: “I have no words to describe what a great friend he was to me and my family. His ability to make me laugh and smile under any circumstances was only outshined by his talent as a chef. “Over the years, I’ve met a lot of great people but a friend like Carl is one in a hundred million. Carl ’The Cuban’ Ruiz will forever live on in my heart and in those of all who loved him.” Ruiz’s family restaurant — Marie’s Italian Specialties in Chatham Township, New Jersey — was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives twice over the past few years. Carl was later hired to appear on Fieri’s shows Guy’s Grocery Games and Guy’s Ranch Kitchen. The two chefs became very close as a result. In June, Ruiz opened the restaurant La Cubana in New York City, from whose Instagram account there was posted a tribute earlier today. “On behalf of the La Cubana family, with heavy hearts, we are deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved Executive Chef Carl Ruiz,” the post read. It continued as follows: “No words can fully express our sadness at the sudden loss of our dear friend and brother. “Beyond his immense culinary talent, Carl’s larger-than-life personality never failed to entertain, enlighten, and uplift every person he encountered along his #Ruizing adventures. His fierce intellect and infectious humor knew no bounds. “He was a mighty force of down home Cuban cuisine, and lived life to the fullest, just as he cooked—with ‘dancing always’ as the most important ingredient.” This is how that in memoriam message concluded: Here at La Cubana, Carl paid proud tribute to his Cuban roots each night, and it is here that Carl’s legacy, undeniable spirit and passion for his culture will live on. We hope we make you proud, Carlito. To honor the work you loved so much Chef, La Cubana will continue your work in establishing The Carl Ruiz Scholarship Foundation for aspiring chefs. We love you! As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have broken up after less than a year of marriage. Shortly after news of the split went public, fans were surprised to see photos of Miley making out with Kaitlynn Carter , the former “wife” of professional famous guy Brody Jenner. (Though they claimed to have gotten hitched, Brody and Kaitlynn later admitted that their marriage was never legal.) At the time, it was thought to be a tabloid-baiting fling — the kind of shock value publicity stunt that used to be Miley’s stock-and-trade. But now, it looks as though Miley and Kaitlynn are actually dating . Kaitlynn has met Miley’s mom ; the two of them have been spotted on what appear to be romantic date nights … it’s a whole thing. The situation has raised questions about the timeline of Miley and Kaitlynn’s romance. They both claim they held off on hooking up until their respective marriages were over. But Brody’s bestie Spencer Pratt says that’s not the case. In a new interview with Cosmo , Spencer calls Kaitlynn out for comments she made on recent episodes of The Hills , insisting that her description of her “open relationship” with Brody is total BS: “It’s tough for me to listen to Kaitlynn complain about people talking about her allegedly open relationship with Brody when we know she had a thing going with Miley,” he told the magazine. “She already had something going on with her when these scenes were filming—maybe not physically, but definitely emotionally.” Pratt says he has no issue with Carter’s (alleged) infidelity, he just wishes that as a new cast member, she would be a bit more upfront with the show’s audience: “No one’s judging you for whatever it is you and Brody do when he’s not sleeping in his car,” he continued. “We just don’t want people to lie about their lives. Maybe you shouldn’t have gone on television,” Pratt added. “It’s called a reality show, hon. And the reality is that Brody’s been talking about your sex life on his podcast for years.” Kaitlynn said her castmates lacked “common decency” in a recent episode, a statement that Pratt find laughable. “I would love to know Liam Hemsworth’s thought on Kaitlynn’s recent display of ‘common decency,'” Spencer prattled on. “You know what I call ‘common decency?’ Getting it on at your Italian villa and not in front of the paparazzi.” Of course, Kaitlynn split from Brody well before Miley and Liam ended their relationship. So if she was cheating on her “husband,” it stands to reason that Miley was, too. For his part, Brody has defended both Kaitlynn and her relationship with Miley: “There is far too much negativity being directed at someone who I love and care about very much,” he wrote on Instagram. “I feel the need to set the story straight. Kaitlynn and I have been best friends for 6 years, and we continue to be,” Jenner continued. “We, like many others before us and many after us, grew in different directions over those same 6 years.” Seems to us that if Brody has no problem with Kaitlynn’s actions, Spencer shouldn’t either. Dog The Bounty Hunter viewers know that Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman was his wife’s biggest fan. His devotion was always on display as he stood by Beth through her final months, and mourned her tragic passing . So fans were understandably stunned Saturday night, when photos surfaced of Duane out to dinner with a mystery woman just weeks after Beth’s death! According to a report from The Daily Mail , Duane was spotted with the woman at an Italian Restaurant in Los Angeles Saturday night. Eyewitnesses describe the woman as a brunette bombshell, with the kind of ample curves we know Duane appreciates. The couple appeared to be on some kind of date, with both Duane and the mystery woman wearing snazzy evening attire. Duane chose a black blazer over his blue button-up shirt. The gal, meanwhile, wore a form-fitting cocktail dress with black and white chevron pattern that perfectly showed off her assets. She complimented the dress with a pair of strappy silver heels. The two reportedly laughed while enjoying a meal together, and were later picked up by the same driver. The vehicle took the couple to a gas station, where the woman and the driver picked up some supplies while Duane waited in the car. Finally, the car took the pair back to Duane’s hotel, reports The Daily Mail . Of course, Duane has yet to comment about the evening himself. But even without confirmation from Dog, fans are going nuts about this apparently romantic outing. Reports left many fans speculating that Duane had his sights set on this new beauty. Could this be real? How could Duane have moved on so very, very quickly after Beth’s death? Not even a month ago, Duane was so distraught he could barely make it through the speech he prepared for Beth’s memorial service . The loss of his wife brought Duane so low that some fans were worried for him. “If there’s a god, He won’t let me live that long without her,” Duane said during the service. If this is the hot date that The Daily Mail describes, it would be a head-spinning, Wilt Chamberlain-level rebound for the bounty hunter. However, a follow-up report from The Blast is defusing much of the drama. According to their updated take on the story, the apparently intimate evening was in fact a work event. The Blast claims that the woman spotted with Duane is a crew member on Dog’s Most Wanted , part of the hair department for the show. She has reportedly been a friend of Duane and Beth for years! Furthermore, they report that at least eight other members of the cast and crew were present. That’s quite a huge detail for The Daily Mail to omit. Did Duane and this supposed crew member leave separately from the rest of the cast? And if so, why the privacy? We know the cast and crew of Dog’s Most Wanted are around L.A. to promote the upcoming premier, which is set to air in September. So, it makes sense for the team to get dressed up and celebrate over a nice dinner. But, even knowing all this, would it be so crazy to think a few sparks are flying? Having a long, friendly history and a working relationship doesn’t rule out the possibility of a romance. In fact, it often brings people together, especially in the wake of a tragedy. Just saying.

In the early 1960s, Bumpy (played by Forest Whitaker ) returned from ten years in prison to discover a neighborhood he once dominated be in shambles. The streets are now controlled by the Italian mob and Bumpy must face the Genovese crime family to regain control. During the intense feud, he forms an alliance with radical speaker Malcolm X (played by Nigél Thatch ), who’s in the midst of a political rise, social upheaval and a mob war that threatens to tear the city apart. The announcement is a direct response to the now infamous blackface controversy in February where the Italian brand was selling a sweater with a roll up collar that evoked feelings of blackface. In a statement obtained by The Independent Tirado expressed her enthusiasm at the opportunity. “I am in the business of making human connections that start with the foundations of inclusivity, respect, and diversity to ensure Gucci remains culturally relevant and economically competitive.
