‘Like Ronnie from ‘Jersey Shore,’ he’s not going to be at the Oscars,’ the host says of limitless comic opportunities. By : Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Tim Kash Aziz Ansari Photo: Sohyung Kang/ MTV News If Aziz Ansari were running the 2010 MTV Movie Awards , some of the highlights from the show would include a fistfight between a Hollywood superstar and a reality show mover-and-shaker, and a certain A-List star whipping out his manhood in front of millions of viewers. Come to think of it, Aziz basically is in charge, as host of this year’s awards show. So, yeah, things could get a bit insane on Sunday, when it airs live at 9 p.m. ET/PT. You’ll just have to tune in to see what the 27-year-old comedian delivers. As he told MTV News, his wish list is a ridiculous and amazing mix of celeb pranks, brawls and more than a few moments that are definitely not safe for the airwaves. For one nutty example, Aziz is pulling for a throwdown between Johnny Depp and Ronnie from the “Jersey Shore” — and that’s just the sort of thing that makes the show great. “There’s the biggest movie stars in the world and then people that are famous for saying ‘bro’ a lot,” Aziz explained. “I mean, those people are not going to be at other awards shows. Like Ronnie from ‘Jersey Shore,’ he’s not going to be at the Oscars.
