Selena Gomez, who is pals with the Grammy-winning phenomenon, recently dished to MTV News about the backlash that Swift felt from music fans after her duet with Stevie Nicks . And while the criticism did sting a bit, Gomez explained that Swift can see the good in any situation. “What I admire most about Taylor is that she focuses on all the positive things — and that’s what I love about her,” Gomez said. “She won four Grammys. That was amazing.” Swift, who not only just released a music video for her new single “Fearless,” but also starred in the hit movie “Valentine’s Day,” doesn’t dwell on the negative — she’s too busy to care about what criticism people want to lob at her. “That is really what she’s passionate about — [her career and her music],” Gomez explained. “And that’s what she loves. She’s a very strong person, so that’s what she’s honoring and that’s what I’m proud of her for.” Regardless of what the haters have to say, Taylor is showing no signs of slowing down . She recently garnered two Kids’ Choice Awards nominations, she’s about to kick off a new leg of her Fearless tour and she’s already hard at work on a new album. Related Artists Taylor Swift
