EST On NBC The creator behind the TV shows “Chicago Med,” Chicago Fire” and Chicago P.D.” said this week’s crossover episodes have a “really scary” storyline that could happen in real life. “One Chicago” creator Dick Wolf said Wednesday night’s three-hour event about a flesh-eating virus plaguing the Windy City would shock viewers because it’s a crisis that’s within the realm of possibility. “It’s basically the same primal fear as “Jaws” or “The Birds” – it’s nature run amok,” Wolf said. “It’s scary.” Wolf said flesh-eating bacteria are in nature and recalled last summer’s spate of cases involving people who caught it after swimming at the beach. Source: NBC / Getty The executive producer also revealed his own brush with superbugs: last year he said doctors swabbed a spot he thought was infected for strep and MRSA viruses. “I said I haven’t been in a hospital,” Wolf told BOSSIP. (The doctor) “said, ‘It’s out.’” This week’s episode sees the casts of “One Chicago” franchises “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.,” and “Chicago Med” join forces to save the city from the potential pandemic. “All I can say is stay tuned,” Wolf added. “There’s really good stuff coming up. The crossover, I think, will scare a lot of people.” Wolf, whose other primetime series “Law & Order: SVU” is the longest-running TV show in U.S. history, also revealed what he believes has helped his shows’ longevity: “The writing,” he said. “It’s always the writing.”

She said she’s also launching her collection with PrettyLittleThing. “It’s something I worked really hard on,” she said. “The theme is a bougie, rich woman enjoying the pleasures in life and the fruits of her labor.” Asked about her own style, Saweetie said “It’s bipolar – you never know what you’re gonna get from me!” Hit the flip for more pics from the show:

If you are a fan of the hit CW series Riverdale I apologize in advance for this heartbreaking news. But Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart have called it quits. Don’t worry, characters Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones are still going strong! But as for the actors, well we’re going to go ahead and say they’re probably not too eager to start filming for season 4. The co-stars have not yet addressed the claims, but Cole did accidentally drop the bomb while in San Diego at Comic-Con over the weekend. Lili and Cole were all smiles at the film festival event where they discussed their popular series , though they reportedly kept their distance and were “rarely seen together,” according to an Us Weekly source. And while space doesn’t necessarily point to a breakup, the source did overhear Cole talking to a friend where he shared that he and Lili had broken up. *Cue the tears* According to a source from E! , however, the two split earlier this summer and they are also “not living together this season.” The US source definitely left out some pretty important deets (like why the two had to break up and totally ruin our day?!) but we were informed that Lili and Cole left the event separately. And now that we know their little secret, we feel super uncomfortable looking back at photos from the weekend where the two got stuck sitting next to each other on a panel. “Please don’t put me between these two ever again,” the actress wrote of her seating arrangement which was in between AJ Kappa and Sprouse. The actors, who also play BF and GF on their teen drama , kept their relationship private for the most part, but they couldn’t hold back from posting adorable photos of each other to Instagram. And even though they were totally in love, it took them a while to realize it. “Lili was a tough egg to crack, she’s very shy at first, reserved, and I think it was about halfway into the first season she started letting people in truly,” Sprouse revealed to Glamour in 2018. “And she’s one of those people that consistently pushes me to be better at the arts that I’m pursuing, and that’s just the kind of person she is, she inspires excellence out of everybody she works with.” Reinhart also opened up about her first impression of the 26-year-old twin, saying she found his voice “annoying.” The CW stars eventually sparked romance rumors and by the 2018 Met Gala, which was their first red carpet appearance together as a couple, fans were sold. “It’s not something that we hide, or it’s not something that we show off,” Sprouse told GQ in March 2019. “It’s just something that exists.” Their love may (at the moment) be shut off and well, non-existent.. but only IRL. Source: bymuratdeniz / Getty Mom Dies After Undergoing Cheap Cosmetic Surgery In Dominican Republic Another person has died trying to undergo cheap cosmetic surgery. According to PIX11 , Alexandria Medina, a 33-year-old mom from New Rochelle, saved money for years to have liposuction in the Dominican Republic, where it costs substantially less than the U.S. Despite the objection of her mother, Medina visited a clinic where two patients had already died. PEOPLE reports that Dominican surgeon Dr. Félix Almánzar agreed to the liposuction and tummy tuck operations on Medina. This was after U.S. doctors told Medina she needs to lose more weight before undergoing any procedures. On Friday, while undergoing the liposuction, Medina died on the operating table at the Santo Domingo clinic. The death certificate claims she died because of a fatty tissue embolism, or blood clot. “She was beautiful and they killed her,” Medina’s mom Connie Toro said. “They took away my little girl.” Medina said she already had concerns even before she got on the operating table. When she arrived at the clinic, Toro said Medina called her and explained that the clinic was dirty and she had to pay the surgeon up front. According to Medina’s sister, Maxine David, the surgeon didn’t even perform the tummy tuck. “He handed it off to an obstetrician , someone who is not a board certified plastic surgeon,” David said. The sister doesn’t fully believe that an embolism caused her sister’s death. “How am I to believe that that was actually the cause of death and that she stopped breathing. It could be he punctured her lung,” Toro said. Medina’s mom is now seeking justice after her daughter’s death. “First it was shock, disbelief, then it was crying continuous, then it was becoming sporadic and now it’s anger,” she said. “I’m going to hold onto this until they get these people.” Toro has been in contact with Dominican Authorities, and she said the FBI is also investigating. Medina left behind a 14-year-old son and husband. The clinic where she died has since been shut down.
Source: Image Group LA / Getty Descendants 3 Premiere Gets Canceled In Honor Of Cameron Boyce Disney announced on Thursday that they have canceled the red carpet premiere for Descendants 3 after the untimely death of actor and star Cameron Boyce . “We’re proud to be part of Cameron Boyce’s legacy by showcasing his talents on screen but we are canceling the red carpet premiere event for Descendants 3 and instead, The Walt Disney Company will make a donation to the Thirst Project, a philanthropic organization to which Cameron was deeply committed,” Disney said in a statement. The red carpet was originally scheduled for July 22. The Thirst Project is a nonprofit organization that aims to work with young people to end the global water crisis. Boyce passed away suddenly on July 6 after suffering from an epileptic seizure at his California home at the age of 20. Disney concluded, “With permission from the Boyce family, Disney Channel will dedicate the telecast of Descendants 3 in Cameron Boyce’s memory.” Descendants 3 is set to premiere on the Disney Channel on August 2.
