Michael Muhney is out of a job. And we may now know why. The actor stunned fans in late December when he announced that he had been fired from The Young and the Restless . No reason was given at the time, but sources tell TMZ that the five-year veteran was terminated after co-star Hunter King complained to producers that Muhney fondled her breasts. On two separate occasions. Muhney is married and has three kids. The report goes on to say that he had been harassing Hunter and others on set for a long time. He even said in a recent chat with HuffPo’s Canada TV after getting canned that “sometimes I’ve walked around with a big backpack of hubris.” Hopefully, Muhney will now learn his lesson. Fans, meanwhile, have threatened to boycott The Young and the Restless as a result of this firing. But perhaps they wil change their tune after learning the reasons behind it. Muhney’s final episode airs on January 30.
