Kelly Clarkson stepped into some serious controversy last week when she endorsed Ron Paul for President of the United States. But the singer made up for that snafu in New Orleans last night, playing a long, free set as part of the the 2012 Allstate Fan Fest, an event that preceded this evening’s Allstate Sugar Bowl between two undeserving BCS teams, Michigan and Virginia Tech. Among other hits, the first-ever American Idol belted out such singles as “Since U Been Gone,” “Stronger,” “Mr. Know It All” and “Breakaway.” Listen to a version of “You Love Me” below: Kelly Clarkson – You Love Me (Live) “Thanks New Orleans! That was fun :)” Clarkson Tweeted after the concert.
