According to a new report, Kanye West is doing all he can to lock down the Hottest Woman in the World . The latest issue of OK! Weekly quotes an insider who says Kanye really has proposed to the large-breasted reality star. The only problem? She doesn’t take him seriously. “Kim has tried to discourage it, but Kanye has said he wants to marry her for years now,” a Kardashian source claims . “On more than one occasion he said, ‘Kim, will you marry me?’ He’d be dead serious if she’d say yes.” Heck, Kanye rapped about it on a recent track. Rapper 2 Chainz was arrested at NYC’s LaGuardia Airport this week for packing what TSA officials called “brass knuckles” in his carry-on luggage. It turns out it was just his four-finger ring, but police weren’t buying it and 2 Chainz, a.k.a. Tity Boi, had to spend a few hours in jail as a result. Not only that, police confiscated his jewelry as well. Tough break. “They tried to assassinate my character, they tried to assassinate my swag,” 2 Chainz told MTV News in a surprisingly upbeat interview after the fact. “It was just a negative dilemma earlier where someone misconstrued a piece of jewelry for a weapon and stuff.” Word … we’ve all been there, right? Police charged him with misdemeanor possession of a weapon. “The knuckles were in his personal bag and sounded the alarm,” an officer said. “I do exclusive pieces. My pieces are actual conversation pieces, like literally. When you see my gold, it’s something to conversate about,” he explained. “People weren’t doing four-finger rings and all that. I like to set myself apart … I definitely wasn’t trying to beat nobody up on the plane or nothing.” 2 Chainz eventually pleaded guilty to a lesser unspecified charge, but never did get his jewels back … or the designer case he totes them in. “Yeah they took it from me, they took the custom Louis [Vuitton] case that I actually keep the jewelry in, they took that. Sad news today from Selena Gomez. A few weeks after announcing to the world that her mother was expecting a baby , the singer was forced to cancel a couple shows this weekend because, according to E! News sources, the child was lost to a miscarriage. Gomez was scheduled to perform this evening at the B96 Jingle Bash 2011 at the Allstate Arena outside of Chicago and also tomorrow at 106.1 KISS FM’s Jingle Bell Bash at the in Seattle. Her next live gig will likely take place on New Year’s Eve, when Selena takes part in MTV’s annual bash. This year’s event will be hosted by Demi Lovato and Tyler Posey.
