After nearly ten weeks of lying low due to health issues, Kate Middleton made her first public appearance since early August on Tuesday when she turned out to welcome the president of Singapore during his visit to London. Kate’s been suffering from severe morning sickness , as the result of a condition known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum. She’s had to cancel several appearances, but forced herself to rally on Tueday, reportedly because she was concerned about the opinions of the public and and the rest of the royal family. Now it seems that the effort may have backfired, as insiders say Queen Elizabeth II is fuming about a minor wardrobe malfunction on Kate’s part. That’s Kate awaiting President Tony Tan’s arrival at the London Royal Garden Hotel. Sources say she struggled to keep her dress down in high winds and the crowd occasionally caught glimpses of her thigh. Yes, that’s it. Nowhere near as bad as the Kate Middleton upskirt photos that wound up in a German tabloid and prompted comparisons between the Duchess and the Kardashians. Even so, British tabloids are reporting that an anonymous source claims both the Queen and Camilla Parker-Bowles spoke with Kate afterward about being more careful in her wardrobe selections. Of course, it’s entirely possible that the rumor is utter BS and no one in the royal family even noticed the minor Marilyn moment, but even so, Kate might want to start investing in some sporty pantsuits.
