New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady hurt his left knee during a scrimmage with Tampa Bay Wednesday, but it looks like he avoided serious injury. Brady, who was adorably visited by Gisele Bundchen and their son after training camp the previous day, is considered day-to-day with a mild sprain. The 36-year-old tore his ACL in the 2008 season opener and missed the rest of the season, but played every game from 2001 until then, and since. Look for the three-time Super Bowl champ to be on the field for the team’s September 8 opener, leading them to another stellar season and shocking playoff loss.
