Emily Ratajkowski Named Esquire Woman of the Year

Emily Ratajkowski no longer has to be known as The Brunette from The Blurred Lines Video . She can now be known as Esquire Woman of the Year! In what has to be considered an upset, the model and aspiring actress took advantage of a last-second surge to capture this title over second-place finished Jennifer Lawrence , earning nearly 65% of reader votes in the process. Emily Ratajkowski Nabs Modeling Campaign Ratajkowski, 22, recently landed a new modeling gig (above video) and will also appear in Gone Girl opposite Ben Affleck. Are we looking at the next Kate Upon here? Ratajkowski is aiming even higher. “I want to be a brand,” the London native told The New York Times in a recent interview, adding that her career goals go beyond mere pin-up status: ““I’m not worried about nudity. [But] I’d rather play a complex character who has a love scene than a stupid girl who’s just a girl next door.”

Kate Middleton, Prince William Buy Royal Baby a $2,350 Silver Cross Stroller

In the stroll seen (and read about) ’round the world, Duchess Kate and Prince William have finally  settled on a strolle r for their baby boy, Prince George.  A $2,350 Silver Cross stroller to be exact, “the Rolls Royce of prams.” They’re just like the rest of us, you guys. Silver Cross, an England-based baby goods company, has been manufacturing baby prams for over 130 years and supplied the first baby carriage to George VI for Princess Elizabeth in 1913.  “Silver Cross have provided royalty across the world with their prams and are delighted that the Duke and Duchess have chosen the premier British brand for Prince George” a representative of the company states. The Royal Couple christened Prince George  last week in a ceremony at St. James’ Palace presided over by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
