Kate Middleton to Resume Royal Duties Next Month

Prince William has already returned to military duty, and now Kate Middleton has booked her first public engagement since the birth of the royal baby. The first-time mom is planning on making her official post-baby comeback next month, palace sources say, at the inaugural Tusk Conservation Awards. On September 12, a top conservationist will be the recipient of the Prince William Award for Conservation in Africa – a cause near to William’s heart. Kate Middleton ’s appearance comes nearly two months after the birth of Prince George on July 22. Since then, she’s enjoyed low-key bonding time with her son. The youngest royal will not attend the event, and The Daily Mail says that he is likely to be left with his grandma, Carole Middleton, as the babysitter. Things appear to be going well for the couple overall these days. They are said to be enjoying life as new parents and are expected to release more Royal Baby photos soon.
