LPGA golfer Erica Blasberg was found dead at her home in Nevada yesterday afternoon, according to local police. It is not known why. She was only 25. According to law enforcement sources , the cause of death has not yet been determined, but officials are currently conducting a “death investigation.” A two-time NCAA All-American, Blasberg was named Golfweek ‘s 2003 College Player of the Year after finishing the season No. 1 in the rankings. ESPN reports that police responded to a 911 call, but they did not say who made the call. More details will surface shortly as the story develops. R.I.P. Erica Blasberg (1984-2010) .
