The not-so-highly-anticipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hits theaters today, and it based on what the critics are saying, the creepy appearance of the CGI title foursome is just the tip of this flick’s awfulness iceberg. TMNT Trailer Sure, it’s got Megan Fox, and the great William Fichtner as Shredder  but apparently that’s just about all the movie has to offer. The rubber suits from the original films may look corny by today’s standards, but at least Secret of the Ooze featured an unforgettable Vanilla Ice cameo. Vanilla Ice: Ninja Turtles Rap The reboot doesn’t offer anything nearly as glorious. But then, what does? Here are some of the less-than-glowing reviews that TMNT has received thus far: “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles doesn’t so much provide brainless enjoyment as it pummels the viewer into submission. “Shell-shocked” is a reasonable description of the experience.” – James Berardinelli ” If you thought Michael Bay had forgiven Megan Fox for saying he was “like Hitler,” this new April O’Neil role is proof he hasn’t .” – Amy Nicholson “One of the most visually ugly pictures this side of the torture-porn genre.” –   John Serba So there you have it. If you were considering, casting TMNT this weekend, maybe it would be a better idea to stay home, order a pizza, and marathon the classic 90s cartoon. 36 Memorable Movie Posters 1.
