Who ya gonna call? Apparently, some of the funniest women in comedy! Yes, it’ll be hard to beat the dream team of Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson, but if anyone’s up to the task, it’s certainly the four women who will be strapping on their proton packs for the highly-anticipated Ghostbusters 3 . The Hollywood Reporter revealed today that Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Melissa McCarthy will be cracking wise and blasting ghouls in the next installment of the iconic franchise. McCarthy and Wiig both worked with director Paul Feig on the 2011 hit Bridesmaids. McKinnon and Jones are two of the most buzzed-about standouts from the current SNL cast. (If you’ve never seen McKinnon’s flawless Justin Bieber impression , click on that link ASAP.) This will be the first major film role for both women. The announcement of the cast is a major step forward for a film that’s been mired in development hell for several years. It was originally to serve as a straightforward sequel starring the original cast, but director Ivan Reitman dropped out after the death of Ramis last year. Murray, Aykroyd and Hudson followed suit shortly thereafter. When Feig announced his intention to reboot the franchise with an all-female cast, some fans were skeptical. (Hudson stated flat-out that he doesn’t think it’ll work). The not-so-highly-anticipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hits theaters today, and it based on what the critics are saying, the creepy appearance of the CGI title foursome is just the tip of this flick’s awfulness iceberg. TMNT Trailer Sure, it’s got Megan Fox, and the great William Fichtner as Shredder but apparently that’s just about all the movie has to offer. The rubber suits from the original films may look corny by today’s standards, but at least Secret of the Ooze featured an unforgettable Vanilla Ice cameo. Racy photographs of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones in suggestive poses with young women hit the web this week as part of an apparent extortion plot. Jones, 72, has been married to his wife Gene for 51 years. One image shows Jerry cupping the breasts of a blond woman in a restroom. Jerry Jones Gropes Woman That’s Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones groping a woman who is totally not his wife. When and where, we cannot say. A Twitter user by the name INFIN8SON posted the pics with the caption, “Sins of Jerry Jones.” Sports and celebrity gossip site Terez Owens first shared them. It’s not clear when they were taken, who the classy ladies are, whether Jones’ wife knows about this, or how in the hell he allowed photos to be taken. Deadspin identified the source as Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks groupie Frank Hoover, who claims he got the pics from others who wanted to extort Jones. Hoover bizarrely claims he had to move from Dallas to Wichita, Kansas, because unknown forces were out to kill him over his knowledge about Jones. “So I gave my own life to save yours,” he writes, adding that as the “Son of God,” he was put on Earth to save Jones from danger (even if it means outing him). Good luck with that, SOG. “I know this because I am the Son of God and he sent me to you. Jerry, possession giving the rest away to charity and then living poor,” Hoover added. Shooting on the Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring reboot of Terminator has wrapped. But the Internet is now asking: Is it too late to reboot the movie’s title?!? The former California Governor released a photo on Instagram today that reveals the name of the fifth film in this franchise, while also mentioning it in an accompanying caption. “Hasta la vista, baby. I want to thank the cast and crew of @TerminatorGenisys for a fantastic shoot,” Schwarzenegger wrote. Yes, the movie will apparently be titled Terminator Genisys . We can only assume this is a reference to a company in the story and not a tragic misspelling. It was challenging, it was fun, and it was rewarding,” Schwarzenegger added. “From our director to the producers, from the camera team to catering, from visual effects to hair and makeup – we couldn’t have done it without you. “I can’t wait to see our finished project and I know we’ll remind the fans why they fell in love with the Terminator. The first Sin City film gave us Jessica Alba as the world’s first stripper to wear pants on stage. But while Alba only takes it off for Entertainment Weekly , Eva Green, her co-star in the Sin City sequel is already being told by the MPAA to put some darn clothes on and the movie hasn’t even been released yet! The MPAA is reportedly preventing Dimension Films from shipping the above poster of Green to movie theaters for display in their lobbies. The reason? Well, in a word, boobs. In many words: “Nudity – curve of under breast, and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.” Yes, that’s the MPAA’s official explanation. They’re the ones holding meetings about dark nipple circles and we’re made to seem like pervs for wanting to see that poster in theaters?! What a world! Neither Green nor the film’s director Robert Rodriguez have spoken publicly about the controversy, but Page Six quotes an anonymous expert who says this sort of situation is not uncommon and the studio is simply being asked to “tweak” the poster – an unfortunate choice of words given the nature of this nipple-based controversy. X Men: Days of Future Past just hit theaters last night, but the film is already enjoying mega-box-office and is expected to turn in opening-weekend totals that will dwarf the receipts of its predecessor, X Men: First Class . The film pulled in over $8 million on Thursday night alone and Marvel Studios is said to have set a goal of $100 million for this weekend. High hopes, indeed, but certainly within reach, as Memorial Day typically provides one of the biggest box office weekends of the year. Despite the impressive one-day total, X Men: First Class has fallen shy of the Thursday night numbers reported by other recent big-budget releases such as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier . Such huge numbers across the board have industry analysts predicting one of the most profitable summers that movie studios have seen in recent years. Just last week, Godzilla ‘s box office was reported at a staggering $93.2 million for its opening weekend alone.
