Movie goers may have gotten Footloose (Footloose!) this weekend, but they also packed theaters again to watch Hugh Jackman and a handful of robots do battle inside the squared circle. Indeed, Real Steel repeated as box office champion. Gabrielle Giffords and Husband to Pen Memoir

The path of Gabrielle Giffords has taken her from Congresswoman… to inspiring gun shot victim… to author. The politician, who was released from the hospital last week, will team with husband Mark Kelly to pen a memoir that chronicles their lives since Giffords was shot in the head by a mad men in January. Kelly, who is retiring from the U.S. Navy and NASA, told The Associated Press of the book: “We decided it was the right thing to do to put our words and our voices on paper and tell our story from our point of view… Gabby and I are forever grateful for the heartfelt support we’ve received over these many months.” No release date has been scheduled for the memoir, which will be published by Scribner.

Footloose Movie Trailer: Watch, Gawk at Julianne Hough Now!

Why remake Footloose , an iconic film from 1984? For male movie fans around the globe, the answer is easy: Julianne Hough. The beautiful Dancing with the Stars professional takes on her first lead role in this adaption, which comes out on October 14 and also stars Kenny Wormald in the role made famous by Kevin Bacon over 25 years ago. He portrays a city teenager who comes to a small town and helps it rediscover the magic of dancing. Hough plays the daughter of Dennis Quaid’s Reverend Shaw Moore.
