The paper even insists the “Single Ladies” singer, 32, and her hip-hop mogul husband, 44, remain apart offstage. “They’re not just staying in different hotel rooms, but they have booked separate hotels, and they arrive separately to each show,” the insider said. The couples’ handlers are allegedly in crisis mode: Jay Z and Beyonce attended an emergency meeting on July 31 with concert promoter Live Nation and at least four lawyers to discuss the imploding union, Page Six continues. Though executives insisted the pair put out a statement, the stars refused because they couldn’t agree on what it would say. The paper cites the rapper’s “controlling nature” for the cause of the strife.
