Mama June's had a tough few years. Back in 2014, the world was shocked and disgusted and outraged to learn that she'd been spending a lot of time with an ex-boyfriend who'd just gotten out of prison for molesting a child. To be clear, he'd just gotten out of prison for molesting her child. The family's reality show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, was canceled , and June started fading into obscurity. Then in 2015, Mama June brought Sugar Bear to Marriage Boot Camp so that they could attempt to repair their broken relationship … but she learned he'd cheated on her, so she ended things. There was another stretch of time when we didn't hear much from the former reality star. Except for an appearance on Botched , she kept quiet once again. But now it's 2017. And as we're learning, 2017 is a time where any terrifying, previously unthinkable old thing can happen. And that's how June managed to land herself another show. The new show, mortifyingly titled Mama June: From Not to Hot, premieres next month, and it's all about the many changes she's gone through recently. Changes in her body, that is. She's still the same old obnoxious June on the inside. The show will cover June's plastic surgery procedures, her weight loss surgery, and her new workout routine.
