American Idol Star Buys New Sprawling Tennessee Mansion Via Zillow She may be forgoing the big wedding and choosing to elope with her fiance, music manager Brandon Blackstock, but she’s still went for the big house. According to E! News, the singer quietly purchased a sprawling estate in Hendersonville, TN under a trust last year. Measuring a whopping 17,321 square feet, the home sits on a little over four acres, which includes deeded lake access. She isn’t new to Tennessee. She also owns a condo in Nashville that she bought in October 2012 for $837,500. Previously, she lived on a ranch in Mansfield, TX, but she put it on the market last year. Blackstock owns another home in Tennessee as well. Blackstock purchased the Gallatin, TN residence under his name in March 2013 for $350,000. The 5-bed, 3-bath home has 3,892 square feet of living space. Her new place in Hendersonville will allow her to recreate another small ranch. Built in 2007, the home sits behind tall gates and a long, circular drive to afford to popular songstress some privacy. Inside, the home opens to a grand entry with walnut hardwood floors. The house has an updated kitchen with double islands and a breakfast nook, as well as an elevator and theater. It has 7 beds and 9.5 baths. Newly Wed: Eric Gunderson and Emily Hagar

Eric Gunderson of the American country trio “Love and Theft,” married his four-year girlfriend Emily Hagar, who’s a college student. They tied the knot at sunset on the front porch of the historic Hazel Path mansion in Hendersonville, Tennessee on Saturday. The reception catered more or less 200 guests, was held in a tent on the grounds of the 1837 plantation. It also features a Moroccan theme. Hagar wanted it to be dark and romantic with a lot of candles, collection of lanterns, satin purple linens and jewel-tones. The foods served were a bit traditional which includes chicken, mashed potatoes, bread, green beans and salad. Hagar handled most of the wedding planning details.
