Celebrity Cribs: Drake Bought The Neighbor’s $2.85 Million House, Did They “Complain About The Noise”? [Photos]

Drake Buys $2.85 Million House Next Door To His Current Hidden Hills Mansion Remember when Drake rapped: “I’ll buy the neighbors house if they complain about the noise.” Welp, according to Trulia , that appears to be exactly what happened. If there were ever a reason to “call you on your cellphone,” this would have been it. Hip-hop star Drake (real name: Aubrey Graham) pulled a fast one on all of us last summer and dropped $2.85 million on the beautiful estate next door to his already expansive Hidden Hills, CA, real estate compound. Drake purchased the larger property, a seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom sprawling mansion, back in 2012 for $7.7 million. But he must have decided that scooping up the house next door was a wise business decision — or he needed a massive new guesthouse (with its own guesthouse, naturally) — because last June, he spent $2.85 million to own it. Drake’s new property, built in 1955, is a charming ranch-style house tucked away on a peaceful cul-de-sac. Located on 1 acre, the 4,445-square-foot four-bedroom, five-bathroom home is the perfect cozy complement to the 7,444-square-foot home next door. An open floor plan, hardwood floors, and high ceilings are the ultimate example of California cool, while multiple fireplaces and a top-of-the-line gourmet kitchen make this the type of home friends will want to hang out in. Which is great, because we hear Lil Wayne can be quite the demanding houseguest. There is no doubt that Rihanna will enjoy spending time on this sprawling property. Celebrity Cribs: “Born Sinner Beater” Diddy Puts $10.9 Million Beverly Hills Mega Mansion On The Market! [Photos]

Cop that! Cop that! Cop that! Diddy Puts $10.9 Million Beverly Hills Mansion On The Market Via Realtor Sean Combs has changed mansions about as many times as he’s changed names. Right around when he transformed into P. Diddy in 2011, the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy was selling this 10,000-square-foot mansion for $2.313 million. P. Diddy has since dropped the P, but his former home certainly hasn’t dropped in price – the 1998 build recently returned the Beverly Hills, CA, market for a whopping $10.9 million. Located inside the affluent and guard-gated neighborhood known as the Summit, Diddy’s former digs are pretty much what one would expect of a business and entertainment mogul. The recently expanded property comes with a wealth of luxury features and can even be had on a turn-key basis, including all the artwork. Things start out with a bang with a dramatic, two-story foyer that showcases a detailed spiral staircase and a massive chandelier. The lower level of the mansion offers a chef’s kitchen, a state-of-the-art media room and a family room with a sports bar. Upstairs, a palatial master suite, one of seven bedrooms and seven-and-a-half baths, comes with dual baths and custom stone appointments. Each room in the house boasts Creston home automation with temperature, lighting and audio iPad control. Outside, the robust, 30,000-square-foot lot includes highlights like a large cobblestone motor court with a fountain, a pool and spa with “special effects” and numerous patios and fire pits. Diddy’s real estate dealings have been excellent tabloid fodder over the last few years. In early 2012, a crazed fan broke into the rap mogul’s mansion in East Hampton and proceeded to dine on Diddy’s food, drink his liquor and parade around in his clothing. Later that year, Diddy made headlines again when he listed a pair of penthouses in New York for $8.5 million and $20 million. He was back in the tabloids in early 2013 after rumors surfaced that Diddy was battling Jerry Bruckheimer for a $23 million mansion in Beverly Hills. Flip it on over to see how Diddy is livin’ out in Hollyweird. Image via MLS Continue reading
