NYC Executives Arrested For Selling Drugs Several top-level business bigwigs — including the Chief Creative and Development Officer of Chipotle — have been taken down in a major drug sting in NYC. Apparently in addition to their six and seven-figure paying positions at major banks, television networks, and brands…they were each slinging cocaine to their friends and coworkers on the side as well. Via MailOnline : A Fox producer, a Chipotle executive and an associate at Merrill Lynch are among a group of 18 high-flyers who have been arrested after a massive New York cocaine ring was cracked. Katie Welnhofer, 29, who works on ‘Mornings with Maria’ on Fox Business, and the Mexican fast food chain’s Chief Creative and Development Officer, Mark Crumpacker, have been indicted after the operation. Christopher Dodson, a client associate at Merrill Lynch, and his brother Austin, an associate at real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield, were also arrested. Underwriting consultant Christian Jewett, Marwood Group senior associate Kyle Holmes, tax accountant Roman Yoffe, and Huffington Post blogger Alexander Mallory were among those also indicted. They were all charged with the criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, according to court documents seen by Daily Mail Online. It followed a year-long investigation into a massive drug ring that sold $75,000 worth of cocaine and operated from the Lower East Side. Customers generally paid between $200 and $300 per transaction. Three kingpins Kenny ‘Jay’ Hernandez, Felix Nunez and Oscar Almonte were all arrested. They allegedly used livery services to deliver cocaine to customers throughout Manhattan. The probe is believed to have begun after investment banker Thomas Hughes jumped to his death from his 24th floor luxury apartment in May 2015. Reports suggest police found the number of his dealer on his cell phone when they searched his home. SMH! On his vow of celibacy till marriage: I’m living the pure life right now. Ain’t no sex, ain’t no self pleasure. I’m so open and transparent at this point in my life. I haven’t always been this way but at this point […] Ultimately I’m a very god fearing man, I don’t think if I try to do it the right way and honor God by not having sex before marriage I don’t think he’ll allow it to be bad. On his “Separated At Birth”mixtape being stalled by Young Money: I just went through some craziness with the whole YMCMB thing. I was gonna do a mixtape called “Separated At Birth” based on me and Lil Wayne; it got banned. The night before my mixtape was gonna come out my record label called me from New York frantically like; ‘You can’t put the mixtape out!’ They were like ‘Nah there’s potential that lawsuits might fall upon us, your physical safety might be at risk.’ All I was doing was taking Lil Wayne concepts and flipping them and doing a 180 on them to make them more conscious alternatives to his subject matter. Some of the songs are very direct though, one song in particular called “Call Your Bluff” might seem like I’m calling Lil Wayne out and I kind of was. On depression: “I realized that me doing it on my own and trying to talk to friends, that train has kind of run its course. It’s time for me to talk to people who do this for a living.
