By Mawuse Ziegbe, with reporting by Matt Elias Tyga Photo: MTV News Young Money’s Tyga recently caught up with Lil Wayne in jail and revealed that the multiplatinum superstar is doing well as he rides out his one-year prison sentence at Rikers Island in New York. “It was crazy to see him in there in that type of situation, but he’s doing good,” Tyga told MTV News on Tuesday. “He’s holding his head up.” Tyga caught up with the Young Money boss a few weeks ago. “He was basically just talking about his whole experience in there, everything that’s going on,” Tyga said. By MTV News Staff Nick Jonas Performs with the “Jonas Brothers” on “Good Morning America” Friday Photo: ABC Throngs of screaming girls gathered to watch the Jonas Brothers along with pal Demi Lovato when they all stopped by “Good Morning America” on Friday (May 21). The guys played old favorite “Burnin’ Up,” in addition to a new tune from their TV show, now called “JONAS L.A.,” and a track from their upcoming Disney movie. The brothers were joined by tourmate and “Camp Rock 2” co-star Demi Lovato for the first single off the movie’s soundtrack, “Can’t Back Down.” As backup dancers livened up the scene, Nick played drums and both Joe and Kevin played guitar. Although they burned up the audience with their performance, the hot topic of discussion on the show was the JoBros’ elevator incident that occurred last weekend after they played in Los Angeles. “We did a show at The Grove in L.A. and right after that happened, we got stuck in the elevator for like an hour,” Kevin Jonas explained. Joe admitted that since then, he’s been feeling if-y about riding in elevators. “Who panicked? I think we all had a moment where we were freaking out,” he said. “I’m gonna avoid elevators for a little while.
