“Hot N***a” Rapper Fighting For His Freedom In Gang Conspiracy Case Embattled rapper Bobby Shmurda told police he had a gun on him because he needed it as an aid in his rap videos, a detective testified Tuesday. NYPD Det. Douglas Corso told a judge that he caught Shmurda fumbling with a gun inside a Brooklyn apartment two years ago that another resident told him was a scene of drug activity. Corso said he pulled his own gun, and Shmurda immediately tried stuffing the firearm into the couch before he exclaimed, “’You can’t charge me with an unloaded gun! There’s no bullets in the gun. I’ve beat gun charges before. I’ve got an attorney for that,’’ according to Corso. Corso said police later recovered a gun and a loaded magazine in the couch. About 12 hours later, Corso said he tried to talk some sense into Shmurda as he waited in a cell. “I was telling them, ‘You guys are young kids. You need to leave them guns alone,’” Corso said. “I tried to offer them encouragement.” The detective said Shmurda immediately shot back. “That’s when he said he was a rapper, and needed the gun for his music video,” Corso said.

These young kids are wild nowadays SMH Las Vegas Teen Stabs Girlfriend’s Father 30 Times Jaime Meza’s 17-year-old daughter told her boyfriend that her father was abusive. Eventually, Jose Martinez told police, she asked him to kill her dad. Meza was found dead in his Las Vegas home, stabbed about 30 times. Now Martinez, 19, and Meza’s daughter are facing murder charges, KVVU-TV reported. The teen girl initially told detectives that Martinez was waiting for her to sneak out of the house early Monday, and was confronted by her father when he came inside. Martinez claimed he tried to defend himself with a knife and then blacked out. But an anonymous tipster said Meza’s daughter planned the murder and Martinez had been asking friends to help him carry it out. He changed his story and admitted that he stabbed Meza at his girlfriend’s urging as Meza slept in his bed. Police later recovered the three-inch blade that sunk into Meza’s flesh about 30 times. When police told his daughter about Martinez’s new statement, she asked for an attorney, according to a police report. She faces charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Martinez was hit with the same charges, as well as burglary with a deadly weapon. By MTV News staff Jeremy London Photo: Charley Gallay/WireImage Jeremy London — the actor best known for his roles in “Party of Five” and Kevin Smith’s “Mallrats” — was robbed and abducted by a man in Palm Springs, California, on Thursday night, beginning a five-hour ordeal in which he was held at gunpoint and forced to smoke drugs. Palm Springs police told RadarOnline that London, 37, was attempting to change a flat tire on his vehicle when several men stopped to help him. After London offered to drive the men home, one of them — a man identified as Palm Springs resident Brandon Adams — pulled a gun on the actor, then forced him to drive his own vehicle, smoke drugs and buy alcohol. “[During the kidnapping] he was forced to smoke dope [crack cocaine or amphetamines] and then purchase booze and hand it out in a gang area of Palm Springs,” Sergeant Steve Douglas told Radar. London managed to escape around 3 a.m. Friday, Douglas added. The actor’s vehicle was later recovered in the Palm Springs neighborhood where Adams lived. Adams was arrested and charged with several felonies, including kidnapping for ransom with injury, strong arm robbery, carjacking, receiving stolen property and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. Adams pleaded not guilty, The Associated Press reported Thursday, but remains in custody with bail set at slightly more than $500,000. A publicist for London confirmed to the AP that the actor was indeed the kidnapping victim and that he is working closely with police in their investigation, adding that he is currently at “an undisclosed location with family and friends.” In the past, London has struggled with drug abuse. In an April interview with People magazine , he said he had spent time in a rehabilitation center due to a prescription drug addiction. In 2004, he was arrested for allegedly driving with a suspended license and carrying controlled substances.
