A frail looking Dennis Hopper turned up today to receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The legendary actor is battling cancer which was recently described as being terminal. He might be too sick to sit through his divorce trial but you can’t fault the guy for wanting to receive one more honor in his life. The real question is, what took so long for this to happen?

This statement was just released: September 30, 2009 (Los Angeles, CA)– Sources tell ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT that acting legend Dennis Hopper has been rushed to a New York hospital. Sources say that the actor was brought in by ambulance to the emergency room at a Manhattan hospital, wearing an oxygen mask and with numerous tubes visible.
