SCORE! Following Alabama’s win over Notre Dame and the aforementioned Musberger verbal boner on-air, ESPN issued an apology for the announcer’s actions. But Webb appeared on The Today Show and told Matt Lauer it wasn’t necessary. Heck, it’s not like she was insulted! “I don’t see why any woman wouldn’t be flattered by that,” she said of Musberger’s comments. “I don’t take any offense to it at all.”
