Stars Align for the Tribeca Film Festival

Created in 2002 as a response to the September 11 terror attacks in New York City, the Tribeca Film Festival is one of the most respected, popular events in the movie world. Its long-term mission is to assist in the recovery of Lower Manhattan, but its short-term goals are to premiere a slew of independent films and feature a number of panel discussions with stars, producers and directors. Why the Hell Shouldn’t We Have Terror Trials Here?

Rich Uncle Bloomberg does not want terrorist Khalid Shaikh Mohammed tried in Federal court in lower Manhattan. And so now it will probably not happen. Not because of fear of terror, but because of fear of real estate prices dropping.
