So the Miss Universe results are in, and I’ve gotta say, I’m a little shocked. The judges completely went over my head, and crowned Miss USA Olivia Culpo instead. It’s nice that Olivia won, but the most obvious choice, Miss El Salvador , didn’t even make the Top 16. I demand a do-over! Or at least a do-over of the swimsuit portion. » view all 30 photos

No one in Hollywood has come close to recreating the epic tapestry of power, politics and family (not to mention machine gun murders) onscreen that Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola established with The Godfather . Just today, director Fernando Meirelles ( The Constant Gardener ) and screenwriter Bráulio Mantovani ( City of God ) announced that they are developing a similarly ambitious project which will center on Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis, his sketchy business dealings and his sketchier involvement with the Kennedy family.
