On Saturday, live music discovery app  Whatslively  reported that Lil Uzi Vert  had pulled out of the event for “undisclosed reasons.” Though festival organizers did not announce the news to fans and attendees, their newly posted set schedule reflects the changes, with Uzi noticeably absent from any appearances: ROLLING LOUD AUSTRALIA 2019 LET'S GO pic.twitter.com/3rmgVuX1Km — Rolling Loud Australia (@RollingLoudAU) January 26, 2019 As you can see from the new lineup and set times posted on Saturday, Lil Uzi Vert is no longer listed as a performer and neither is his previously collaborator Ski Mask the Slump God. Whatslively also reported that Ski Mask was forced to scrap his appearance because of issues with his passport. Lil Uzi’s slot is going to be filled by Rae Sremmurd and a “special guest,” who is thought by many to be Gunna. It has not yet been specified why Uzi decided to drop out of the inaugural festival, but it’s safe to assume that it has something to do with his recently announced retirement. In the beginning of the year, the Philadelphia rapper took to his Instagram page claiming he had deleted all of his material and that he was “done” with music. “I wanna take the time out to say I thank each and every one of my supporters but I’m done with Music,” he wrote on his Insta-Stories at the time. “I deleted everything. I wanna be normal … I wanna wake up in 2013. You are free.” Just this past Tuesday, Uzi shared another Instagram story that gave fans a little hope: “Wish I still could go to the studio,” he wrote over a photo of himself, “just reminiscing.” The public still isn’t really clear on why Uzi doesn’t want to make music right now, but everyone is just hoping he makes his way back to the studio soon.

In The Evening: Drake Spent His Saturday Night Riding Around With J. Cole In His Rolls-Royce

Cole Linked Up In LA This Weekend Even though Drake has been stirring up beef with his Calabasas companion Kanye West these past few months, it’s nice to see that the Toronto native still has some friends he can turn to in the industry. Just this weekend, the rapper spent part of his Saturday night riding around Los Angeles with J Cole in his Rolls-Royce. Cole, always manages to keep a pretty low profile, seemed to happy as ever as Drake posted footage of the two of them hanging out on his Instagram story. This obviously isn’t the first time that Drake and Cole have linked up or even collaborated, but it has been a while–at least as far as the public knows. The duo got together on-record with 2010’s “In the Morning” and “Jodeci Freestyle,” in 2013–but more recently, the two rappers have been competitors. J. Cole’s  KOD  broke the 24-hour record for most Apple Music streams and beat  Views ‘ Spotify record from that time span, but it’s clear from last night’s video that there are no hard feelings from either side. Though the occurrence was probably just two friends reconnecting and hanging out, it goes without saying that this meet up had fans ready for another collaboration from the two. Who knows if we’ll get a new collab from Drake and J. Cole any time soon, but either way, it’s nice to see the two of them hanging out.

Source: Prince Williams / Getty August Alsina Reveals Mother Of His Nieces Died From Cancer Christmas Day Singer August Alsina and his family have suffered a terrible loss over the holiday, his sister Chandra passed away. August shared the somber news with fans on social media with a lengthy emotional message to his older sister who battled cancer. Chandra was actually the mother of three children fathered by his late biological brother Melvin. Melvin was gunned down in New Orleans in 2010 according to a VH1 report . In his public eulogy to Chandra, he revealed she asked for him to take care of his nieces left behind without parents. So sad. Here is August’s full message: Chandra… My Sister, My friend, life giver to my nieces, my hair magician, my biggest supporter, my number one fan. We lost such a beautiful soul on Christmas Night To the battle with cancer. I am Utterly devastated & Deeply shattered! Not only for myself, but for my 3 little nieces, whom are now robbed of BOTH parents. First they killed Mel, Now Cancer has stolen you. What is life? Why is life? Why is THIS life? I’m calling on God for the answers. I don’t question God but THIS I’m not in agreement with. After Mel left I was always pushing you and hard on you about figuring out life’s direction & purpose for yourself..encouraging your entrepreneurship with mostly my fear speaking. Afraid & wanting my nieces to see an example of hustle, drive, determination and confidence through you so that they’d follow suit as young women…. & ALL along you were PERFECT! Living in your perfect purpose. The perfect mother, the perfect friend, the perfect sister, the perfect listener, the perfect caregiver, the perfect example of a young black woman traumatized by the ruins of our cultural upbringing trying their damndest to push to evolve and overcome fear while trying to raise 3 precious little innocent lives &’figure out a life your own at the same time. Before you left You asked me to guard & raise these girls, & I promise you I don’t even know where to begin. I am at a lost & am desperately craving and crazing to be found, so please send some signs, help us out. I have trouble accepting the fact that you’re gone, so it’ll be like we’re just going for a while without seeing each other. Someday hopefully I’ll find you where you are, where Peace is. Please say hello to Melvin & hug him for me, & just ask God to cover the emotions of the girls and allow their hearts to be open, accepting and able to receive love. Ask God to expand my capacity because right now I’m maxed out. Lord knows I’m still raising myself but I guess it’s officially official…I’m a DAD now & I have 3daughters, & i don’t know the slightest thing about it or where to start but unfortunately I/we know loss too well. In the flick, North is rocking a mean red lip. This lipstick sparked comments from critics who “disagree” with “kids wearing makeup.” The comments were filled with anecdotes from folks deprived of gliding on lip color at North’s age. The RHOA star and Dennis McKinley spent Christmas in Nassau, Bahamas at the Baha Mar Casino & Hotel and while there Porsha had a full photoshoot in a bikini. She also apparently has more maternity photos coming including pictures in custom gowns designed by Theodore Elyett and Claude Lavie Kameni, respectively. In addition to the bikini photos, Porsha also got some payback on RHOA fans who were appalled by a dirty little secret she shared on TV. On one of the first episodes of season 11, Porsha berated Dennis about using his toothbrush because she left her toothbrush behind at home. According to Porsha, she uses Dennis toothbrush ” every day” so them sharing it wasn’t a big deal. Fast forward to Porsha’s babymoon and the reality star posted a video of Dennis clearing using HER toothbrush although he previously acted appalled that she wanted to use his. Robin Thicke and longtime love April Love Geary are tying the knot after the “Blurred Lines” singer proposed on Christmas. “YES YES 1000x YES,” April captioned photos from the proposal. Robin, 41, and April, 22, welcomed their first child Mia Love in February and April’s currently pregnant with their second. This will be Robin’s third child, he has a son, Julian, with Paula Patton.

Though he’d like everyone to believe he was just tired, the internet is pretty convinced he has a drug problem. According to TMZ , fans aren’t the only ones who are concerned with the rapper’s health. “His camp is working overtime to help the kid kick drugs,” the site states. TMZ has learned the Chicago rapper passing out in the middle of his live stream earlier this week was just the latest troubling sign that he’s got a drug problem. We’ve been told Dex abuses opioids… Sources say Dex was upset by the video of himself passing out and expressed a desire of never wanting to see himself like that again. The problem … he’s tried getting treatment, but always circles back to drugs. Apparently, Dex has someone with him most times to make sure he is still coherent, alive and well. …we’ve learned there’s someone who is always by Dex’s side for the sole purpose of making sure he’s coherent enough to do his job. We’re also being told that, at times, there’s even someone who sleeps in the same bed to make sure he’s okay. His team is actively working to get him the help he needs. In case you missed it, the rapper was playing music for his followers during a live stream on IG, when he started to lean forward and suddenly fell asleep. Not even the heat from his blunt touching his hand woke him up. Responding to the viral clip , Dex later claimed that he knows himself so nothing really needed to be explained, then explaining that he’s “a human being,” he’d been working overnight, and didn’t get home until 4 a.m. before he decided to “go live” on the ‘gram.
