Neil Diamond and Katie McNeil: Engaged!

Sweet Caroline? More like Sweet Katie! Neil Diamond announced via Twitter today that he’s engaged to long-time girlfriend and manager Katie McNeil, writing as only he can: “Good news coming from sunny LA/ and you’re the first I want to tell/ Katie & I just got engaged/ and I hope you wish us well.” The 70-year old artist describes himself as “lovestruck.” This will be Diamond’s third marriage. He was previously hitched to to Jayne Posner, with whom he has two daughters, and Marcia Murphey, with whom he has a pair of sons. Congrats to the happy couple! [Photo: WENN.com]
