Tank Taken Into Custody By LAPD For Talking On Cell Phone While Driving

Tank Arrested After Routine Traffic Stop Tank is cooling his heels in an LA jail this evening. Apparently the R&B crooner got pulled over for some vehicular chitchatter, but his refusal to cooperate with the LAPD got him cuffed and booked. Via TMZ : R&B singer Tank got busted using his phone while driving … and ended up getting arrested for the way he dealt with the cops … TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us Tank was in the Van Nuys area of L.A. when officers spotted him behind the wheel, and on his phone — a major no-no in Cali. We’re told things went south during the stop when officers asked Tank for his drivers license. He allegedly refused to hand it over … so he was arrested for failure to obey an officer. He’s still in custody. Damn, man. Why doesn’t anyone in LA ever want to hand over that ID ?

2 Chainz Arrested at Airport for Pot Possession

It’s been a busy week for 2 Chainz. On Sunday, the rapper was robbed at gunpoint . And just now… he was arrested for possession of marijuana! Few details are available, but TMZ broke the story and this much we know: The 35-year old artist was apparently caught with marijuana in Terminal 5 of Los Angeles International Airport, just prior to his flight boarding. He was booked for possession, but authorities are yet to make a comment. In late April, 2 Chainz was cleared in another marijuana case after the arresting officers asked to pose for a photo with the celebrity. So at least it appears they’ve learned from that mistake.

Nearly Nude Driver DWI: Catherine Giaquinto Arrested After Crashing Into Wall

Catherine Giaquinto, a New York woman and apparently a nearly nude driver as well, was arrested for DWI after crashing her car into a wall and driving off. She was wearing only an unzipped jacket at the time. The crash occurred early Friday in the northwestern New Jersey community of Sparta Township. A town officer stopped the car just minutes after the crash. The 36-year-old nearly-nude Giaquinto, who lives in Warwick, N.Y., allegedly told police she couldn’t remember the accident or where she was going. She was not wearing any pants, or a shirt. After noticing some clothes in her car, officers asked Giaquinto to get dressed, which she did after several minutes. So that’s good at least. It’s not known if Giaquinto has retained an attorney. She may want to get one. And some underwear.
