Tank Taken Into Custody By LAPD For Talking On Cell Phone While Driving

Tank Arrested After Routine Traffic Stop Tank is cooling his heels in an LA jail this evening. Apparently the R&B crooner got pulled over for some vehicular chitchatter, but his refusal to cooperate with the LAPD got him cuffed and booked. Via TMZ : R&B singer Tank got busted using his phone while driving … and ended up getting arrested for the way he dealt with the cops … TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us Tank was in the Van Nuys area of L.A. when officers spotted him behind the wheel, and on his phone — a major no-no in Cali. We’re told things went south during the stop when officers asked Tank for his drivers license. He allegedly refused to hand it over … so he was arrested for failure to obey an officer. He’s still in custody. Damn, man. Why doesn’t anyone in LA ever want to hand over that ID ?

When police approached the rapper#39;s White Chevy Tahoe, they could smell weed. Waka Flocka was asked to step out of the vehicle and placed in cuffs. Not So Sly: Stone Arrested for Cocaine Possession

Sly Stone of Sly and the Family Stone was arrested for cocaine possession recently. He is 68 years old. Sly was due in court today to face the charge. Stone, a.k.a. Sylvester Stewart, got popped after LAPD officers say they found freebase cocaine on the old school rocker during a vehicle search. Sly’s attorney, James Silverstein, says Stone was riding in a buddy’s camper vehicle with some friends when a routine traffic violation occurred. That’s George Clinton behind sly. Both look Stoned . During the stop, Silverstein says, cops searched the vehicle and found the coke. Stone was arrested and hauled to a nearby police station. “The evidence is clear that the vehicle was not his,” Silverstein said. “I believe that this case his highly defensible, and Stewart should never had charges filed against him. We firmly believe the DA will lose this case.” We’ll have to wait until next week to find out it looks like. Stone is battling heart problems and could not make it to court today. Officers Find Crack Hidden In Man’s Penis Foreskin

A Louisville, Kentucky man is in police custody after authorities say he was arrested and found to be hiding crack cocaine in his penis. WLKY News reports that Antoine Banks was arrested after they found him in possession of salvia and liquid codeine during a routine traffic stop. For that he was charged with second-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of synthetic cannabinoid agonists or piperazines. More at HipHopWired.com
