Roseanne Barr is mourning the death of music legend Etta James in an odd way: by talking $hit about President Obama and Beyonce. Basing a round of criticism on Obama asking Beyonce to cover the James classic “At Last” during a 2009 inauguration ball, Roseanne Tweeted yesterday: “I lost ALL respect for Obama when he dissed Etta James in favor of Beyonce,” later adding: “I have not listened to anything Beyonce or Jay z has said or recorded since they did that to Etta. Their arrogance was disgusting.” Roseanne, who actually just had a pilot picked up by NBC , then focused her rage on those who dare to support the new mother of Blue Ivy, writing: “Beyonce’s fans are really ignorant-she should not be proud of entertaining drooling mutants!” Soon after Beyonce serenaded the Obamas with “At Last,” James herself also called her and the President out – but both she and Roseanne appear to be missing a crucial point: James did not originally record the song, either. Never one to let celebrity scandals pass without getting involved personally, attorney Gloria Allred is representing a woman that will be filing a sex trafficking lawsuit against former football star Lawrence Taylor, according to reports. Allred and the alleged sexual trafficking victim, now 18, will formally announce the lawsuit at – what else – a news conference in New York City on Monday. Lawrence Taylor’s accuser said he paid $300 to have sex with her in 2010. Lawrence Taylor was indicted on charges of rape, a criminal sexual act, and sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child (she was 16 at the time); he eventually pleaded guilty to patronizing a prostitute and one count of sexual misconduct. He was given probation and registered as a sex offender. The lawsuit, according to sources , could be the first of its kind filed by an underage sex trafficking victim under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act against a man. Taylor was seeking services, but the trafficking pimp, Rasheed Davis , was the one convicted of coercing her, by force, to provide commercial sex to Lawrence. A New York Judge even ruled that Taylor was not a threat to public safety and that it wasn’t “likely” that he would repeat his crime, thus sparing him jail time. Also, unlike other sex offenders, LT, who must abide by a 1 a.m. curfew, is allowed near schools and playgrounds because he has young children himself. Basically, no matter how terrible a person he is, Allred may be pushing her luck and trumping up the lawsuit for the sake of publicity … stunning, we know.

The publisher is Michael Joseph, an imprint of Penguin, who is believed to be paying her a $600,000 advance. It’s not just about being the perfect hostess – it will also include recipes and information about how to host different types of events,” a source told The Mail . Pippa Middleton , 28, will not be employing a ghostwriter for the work, since she already works as a writer and editor in an event planning capacity. She runs the website Party Time s for her parents’ online party supply and planning company, giving her actually relevant experience in the field.
