Incredible Images of Pilot Whales in the Strait of Gibraltar

Marine biologist Rory Moore and his team, including photographer Danny Kessler, came across pilot whales in the Strait of Gibraltar in the Mediterranean and managed to take some extraordinary photographs of the curious animals. Pilot whales rarely come into contact with humans thanks to strict diving regulations, so the images are an extra special treat. While they appear to be playful, graceful and comedic, the toothed pilot whales can also become aggressive and deadly, which makes the photos all the more intriguing….
