In the video, Ariana Grande rocks a black and white skirt, crop top and now-signature white knee-high boots that have become staples of her live performances. Looking fierce as ever as she belts out the sexy track, Ariana is joined by up-and-coming rapper Iggy Azalea, who spits game with the best of them. Iggy’s all-black turtleneck outfit makes for an understated, yet sexy look that perfectly compliments Ariana, even if the two seem like polar opposites. Maybe that’s what makes the song such a major earworm … not to mention the Macklemore-esque sax line plus Big Sean whispering the hook. Expect this to be certified platinum in a few hours. Ariana Grande is reportedly breaking sales records with “Problem” , the debut single from her forthcoming album, but that hasn’t stopped the 20-year-old from relentlessly promoting the chart-topping hit. Continuing to make the talk show rounds, the songstress performed the song on Ellen today, seeming significantly more calm and confident than when she sang at the iHeartRadio Awards last week. We don’t think Rihanna will be laughing at Ariana this time. Ariana Grande performed at the iHeartRadio Awards in LA last week and received mixed reactions to her singing and dancing. Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton were bored by Ariana to the point that it was written all over their faces, and Rihanna actually laughed out loud at Ariana’s moves. Rihanna Laughs at Ariana Grande Ariana spoke about RiRi’s giggle fit in a recent interview and it seems she actually buys Rihanna’s excuse that she wasn’t laughing at the performance. “I didn’t see her laughing her laughing at me, but when I watched it afterwards it looked like she was just shocked because I was doing something different,” said Ariana. Riiiiight. Shocked people always break out into fits of hysterical laughter. Apparently, RiRi’s official explanation is that she was chuckling at something that one of Ariana’s friends said. Ariana adds, “I thought it was funny that people tried to make such a commotion out of it because she was being playful and supportive if anything.” Playful, supportive, shocked…whatever she was, Rihanna certainly seemed to be enjoying herself.
