According to TMZ , Flav has filed a lawsuit against his long-time partner Chuck D along with a Public Enemy producer as well as their management for failing to pay him his accrued royalties. Flav claims that he and Chuck D had a life-long agreement to split an money made from their music, concerts and merchandise, but he hasn’t seen a red cent in years. Being that he allegedly wrote at least 50 of P.E.’s music, he wants his guap because Chuck D is still getting checks. Flav was further enraged when his likeness was used on the new Public Enemy album Nothing Is Quick In The Desert and he was only paid $7500 of the $75,000 he requested. Producer Gary G-Wiz is also catching legal shots from Flav for allegedly creating P.E. action figures, getting filthy rich and never paying out the royalties.
