If Rick Ross is feeling threatened by a Chicago gang, he’s putting on a good front. Following Gangster Disciples’ apparent Rick Ross death threat on YouTube, he nixed the remaining dates on a U.S. tour with his Maybach Music Group. Gang members instructed Ross to “cut a check” to GD kingpin Larry Hoover, like now, or else, but Ross said in an interview that this didn’t faze him one bit. You can’t cancel a Ricky Ross show without Ricky Ross’ permission,” he said, referring to himself in the third-person for some reason. “I canceled the rest of the tour due to the promoter, he wasn’t really handlin’ his business. Once they began to unravel, I shut it down. Never was it due to any threats.” “Any dude can stand in a crowd with 30 or 40 dudes and everybody real, everybody ’bout that life, everybody gangsta. But when the choppers come out, everybody fold.” We have no idea what that means, but we think we get the gist.
