Common has become a very busy man. The Chicago MC and actor is slated to begin filming a crime drama with Forest Whitaker. The movie, ‘Pawn’ centers around a hostage crisis gone awry when an ex-con gets ensnared in a game of manipulation between different factions in the FBI. The Shield’s Michael Chiklis and Ray Liotta are also set to appear in the film. David A. Armstrong will make his first foray into directing with this feature.
