Getty Images Justin Bieber has the undying adoration of pop fans, R&B fans, tween girls everywhere, and now he's trying to corner the country market! The 16-year-old is teaming up with one of the most popular country acts around, Rascal Flatts. Justin Bieber (Getty) Apparently the Bieb approached the guys in the band, Gary LeVox , Jay DeMarcus , and JoeDon Rooney about a duet, and they accepted the propostion. LeVox recalled (via CNN ): “[Justin] asked us to do a duet with him on his next record. It's actually a really good song!” Justin seems super pumped about the 2011 collaboration. He wrote on his Twitter page today: ” I love @ RascalFlatts and Im honored that they are making music with me.” Then, he posted one of the band's videos, for those ” that dont know” them. Country-pop crossovers have been a great success before (think Taylor Swift ), and seems like Bieber Fever will soon spread into that world — though we doubt he'll ever trade his colorful collection of sneakers for cowboy boots.
