“Happy” is not the first word that comes to mind when we think of Jenelle Evans. Maybe it’s the many times Jenelle has been arrested for assault . Or maybe it’s the many times she’s launched unprovoked attacks against her fellow Teen Moms . Or maybe it’s the time she compared herself to 9/11 victims because people talk trash about her. The point is, she just doesn’t strike us as the ball of sunshine type. But according to Jenelle’s latest social media updates, we’re dead wrong. Ms. Evans says she’s content, emotionally stable, and in tune with the rhythms of the universe. And if you don’t believe it, she will prove it you motherf–kers! “Can’t wait for everyone to see how happy I truly am this upcoming season,” Jenelle tweeted last night. “I am very happy and will choose to continue to live this way.” We hope she’s being completely honest with her fans and with herself. Despite the many atrocious things she’s done over the years, we hope Jenelle is genuinely happy, and that this is the beginning of a stable and fulfilling period in her life. Evans is pregnant with her third child and her relationship with third baby daddy David Eason seems to be her healthiest to date. Still the proof is in the pudding, and we’ve been down this road before with Jenelle. Actions speak louder than tweets, and she’s right that we’ll see how happy she really is the upcoming eighth season of Teen Mom 2. (MTV is calling it season 7B for legal reasons, but eff all that.) We all know that person who loves telling the world how happy she is on social media. And we all know that that person is rarely actually happy.
