As documented on many occasions, the Internet often likes to Shake It Off , as countless users have performed their own versions of Taylor Swift's smash hit song. But this video features a new twist on the trend. It features Portsmouth High School valedictorian Colin Yost challenging his classmates to “embrace your inner nerdiness” before “Shake It Off” blasts on the loud speakers and all 230 graduating seniors break into a flash mob. Said Yost to MTV: “I’ve always wanted to do a flash mob and I thought graduation would be the perfect place because our class is very cohesive and doesn’t really have a lot of cliques. “As we practiced, the energy was just building and everyone was feeling how great it was to work together and send this positive message.” We cannot wait to see how Taylor responds once she sees this video.
