Kim Kardashian is no longer the only person who thinks Kris Humphries sucks. The Brooklyn Nets power forward, who had been a fixture in his team’s starting lineup for most of the season, was benched last night in the squad’s 95-92 win over Philadelphia. It was the first Did Not Play – Coach’s Decision of Humphries’ Nets’ career. “Anybody wants to start and play as much as possible, so you are obviously frustrated,” Kris told the press in response to his lack of playing time. “But it’s about more than one player.” Avery Johnson insisted that Humphries is “healthy” and “not in the doghouse,” but the baller has clearly fallen out of favor with the coach. Humphries is only averaging seven points and seven rebounds per game this season, following his signing of a two-year contract for $24 million overall. Perhaps if he spent less time fighting Kardashian in court , Humphries would be seeing better production on the court.
On the eve of her 26th birthday, Lady Gaga has posted a very cute photo of herself with no makeup on Twitter. The singer was born THIS way … or something. Of all people to see with no makeup, Gaga – a young woman famously known for her wildly outlandish outfits, elaborate hairstyles and creative makeup – stands out. Half the time she’s got a lobster or slab of raw beef on her head, for that matter. Casual opportunities like this – one of our new favorite Lady Gaga photos – are rare: She’s on a self-imposed media blackout , but that doesn’t mean she’s not in touch with fans. Monday, Gaga tweeted the au naturale self-portrait via Blackberry. In the pic, Gaga’s hair is in a casual ponytail with a flower pinned behind her ear, and her body clothed in a loose tank top. She looks quite … approachable. The Lady has always bolstered her already considerable talent with the sense of unity she projects to her fans. A superstar who’s like all of us, so to speak. Pictures such as this and random tweets about watching Monday’s episode of “Drag Race” certainly make her seem like a normal, down-to-earth gal.
It’s the biggest event in Kentucky since Colonel Sanders concocted a special recipe for fried chicken: Saturday night, the University of Kentucky basketball team will battle the University of Louisville in the NCAA Tournament Final Four. The monogamy adverse ex-Kentucky coach, Rick Pitino, leads his Cardinals against the favored Wildcats of John Calipari and his NBA factory of a starting lineup with a berth in the national championship game on the line. Just how hot is this ticket? A Kentucky fan has placed an ad on Craig’s List, asking for seats at the game in exchange for… his wife! But only as collateral. See below: As you can see, it’s not a bad deal: learn a few languages while watching the game on your big screen TV? Certainly worth considering at least …
