Does Dave Hester owe A&E a ton of money in legal fees after the network prevailed in an anti-SLAPP motion against the former Storage Wars star? Yuuuuuuuuuuup!!!! Hester, who’s suing Storage Wars ‘ production company Original Productions and A&E in a complaint that claims the show is staged, must pay $122,692. In a tentative ruling , Dave Hester was ordered to cough up $96,735 to A&E and $25,957 to Original (they asked for $138,194 and $43,283 initially). The reduction came after Hester objected to figures regarding the staffing and hours that A&E and Original claimed to have expended on the motion. Hester sued A&E and Original in December, claiming that he had been fired from the hit reality show for complaining that events have been rigged. Specifically, Hester alleges, producers plant valuable items in storage lockers, which competitors then bid on, supposedly without knowing what’s inside. The show has been besieged with real-life drama over the past year as every cast member seems to really want to get paid – via a raise or a lawsuit.

The agency wants you do know the famous Mayan apocalypse prediction is not going to happen. In fact, it’s not even a real prediction they made! NASA Apocalypse Video 2012 NASA’s video, titled “The World Didn’t End Yesterday,” was originally supposed to be released December 22, but made its way online this week. The four-minute clip explains how the idea of the Mayan apocalypse is a hoax, and that 12/21/12 is just the end of their calendar … before the next one. Time reports that the space agency has been besieged with questions from citizens worried that their lives are about to end over the last few months. NASA is taking the fears seriously, not because there is any danger, but because irrational fears can sometimes lead to irrational and dangerous actions. Its official site features an area dedicated to debunking the claims. “The world will not end in 2012,” NASA writes in its 2012 section . “Our planet has been getting along just fine for more than 4 billion years, and credible scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with 2012.” NASA experts go on to explain the origins of the hoax. “The story started with claims that Nibiru, a supposed planet discovered by the Sumerians, is headed toward Earth,” an expert explains to us. “This catastrophe was initially predicted for May 2003, but when nothing happened the doomsday date was moved forward to December 2012.” “It was linked to the end of one of the cycles in the ancient Mayan calendar at the winter solstice in 201s, hence the predicted doomsday date of Dec. 21, 2012.” Nibiru, by the way, is not a real planet. Due to ongoing, worsening financial woes, Lohan, whose assets were already seized by the IRS , may see her physical possessions taken from her as well. We’re talking expensive designer clothes, family heirlooms and potentially embarrassing items, all because she hasn’t paid her storage bill of about $16,000. As a result, the unit is about to go up on the auction block . According to TMZ, she’s fallen behind on payments recently, putting the storage unit’s owner in a similar spot to anyone else who deals with Lohan. The account is now delinquent and the locker can’t be opened until the balance is paid in full … and that’s not going to happen because it’s Lindsay. Unless Lindsay pays up this month, that unit is theirs for the taking. If this saga isn’t reenacted for the (apparently fake) Storage Wars , we’ll be upset. She’s reached out to friends, but so far, no one’s loaned her the cash. Shock. Maybe her angel investor pal Charlie Sheen can come through again? This guy never picked up his car after it got towed and when employees cleaned it out before auction day, they found shocking images on an SD Memory Card. According to The Sun Sentinel : A Palm Beach Gardens man is charged with seven counts of possession of child pornography after a tow-truck employee found a memory card in the man’s SUV that contained several pictures of a young girl being sexually assaulted, police say. Nicholas Eaton Fogarty, 30, admitted to owning the card when police questioned him, according to an arrest report filed by a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office detective. Tow company employees also found a gun belt, police lights, bullets and badges in the vehicle, according to the arrest report. No further details about these items were provided. An employee with All Florida Towing found the SD memory card in Fogarty’s 2002 GMC Envoy and called authorities in October. The tow company had towed the Envoy after it was involved in a crash on Sept. 4, 2012 in North Palm Beach. The next day, Fogarty went to the tow company to retrieve belongings from the vehicle, police said. On Sept. 6, Fogarty’s mother called the tow company to pay for the storage fee for the Envoy by credit card but was told company doesn’t accept credit card numbers over the phone. No further efforts were made by anybody to pay the storage fee and so the vehicle was put up for auction, the arrest report stated. Before putting it up for sale, however, a tow company employee found several items inside the vehicle including an SD card, police said. Two staffers at All Florida Towing viewed the contents of the card and were stunned to see a picture of a girl between 10 and 12 years old being sexually assaulted by a man. They called the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators executed a search warrant on the vehicle on Oct. 22. On Wednesday, Sheriff’s Office detectives met with Fogarty, according to the arrest report. He allegedly admitted, after being read his rights, that he owned the card and received the child porn images by email, but did not delete them. He was arrested. Fogarty was held Thursday in the Palm Beach County Jail in lieu of a $70,000 bail. SMH. We don’t think we’ll ever ‘understand’ the evil minds of child abusers. Hope he rots in prison. Images via PBC
