Not everyone out there is happy that Amy Schumer may have had a threesome with R2-D2 and C-3PO. The comedian is featured on the latest cover of GQ, sucking on C-3PO and looking VERY cozy with both him and his fellow droid inside the publication’s pages. As you can see below, she’s also dancing with some Storm Troopers. But some fans of the Star Wars franchise are both confused and taken aback by this spread, with one in particular writing on Twitter: “I can’t believe @Disney and @starwars are allowing @GQMagazine to do this DISTASTEFUL #starwars spread shame on all of you.” The backlash has prompted the official Star Wars account to come out with its own Tweet. It reads: “Lucasfilm and Disney did not authorize, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner.” Schumer has been making the publicity round in promotion of her first starring movie, Trainwreck. She’s known for pushing the edge and for making lewd jokes, such as when she apparently texted Katie Couric’s husband for anal sex . Do you feel as though she has sullied the good Star Wars name with this GQ spread? Or should fans of that movie forget The Force for a moment and take a chill pill instead?
