The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida, Phaedra Parks’ husband, has reportedly been charged by federal officials with bank fraud and identity theft. Nida was named in a criminal complaint last Tuesday after an investigation by the U.S. District Attorney’s office, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution . The paper reports that Nida created fake companies and then used access to credit reporting databases to locate individuals whose names he used. His alleged goal? To fraudulently open bank accounts and obtain loans. If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online , you know Nida’s reputation. This isn’t the first time he’s been in trouble with the law, to say the least. He is said to have served prison time from 2004-09 for auto title fraud. Phaedra Parks , an entertainment attorney and Real Housewives cast member, wed Apollo Nida in 2009, after his release. They have two sons, Ayden and Dylan. Wonder what she has to say about this particular legal fiasco … Nida was apparently named by the original target of the investigation, Gayla St. Julien, who was arrested in September on similar criminal counts. She confessed all the details of their joint operation, including the fact that Nida would steal people’s IDs and have St. Julien open accounts as them. While in custody, federal officials say St. Julien “described herself as Nida’s right hand b—h in executing the legwork of his fraud schemes.” Guess this right hand b—h copped a plea deal.
