Man Beats “Zombie” Roommate To Death After Watching The Walking Dead *sigh* We’re gonna pull back the curtain for you guys a bit on this one… Here at the BOSSIP, we’re pretty big fans of AMC’s The Walking Dead . We talk about the show around the office and opine on future events, but never, not once, have we thought about beating one of our co-workers to death after a heated discussion about Sasha and Michonne. Unfortunately, some folks are WAY too involved in the world of Rick Grimes and his band of murderous (wo)men. This story in the Santa Fe New Mexican is evidence of such obsessions: A New Mexico man who had been watching TV’s “The Walking Dead” says he fatally beat his friend before he could become a zombie. Grants police spokesman Moses Marquez said Sunday that 23-year-old Christopher Paquin was beaten and that 23-year-old Damon Perry is being held on a murder charge. Officers were called Thursday afternoon to an apartment complex where Perry was allegedly wielding a knife. They found Paquin’s body inside an apartment and maintenance workers detaining Perry. Perry told investigators they had been drinking when Paquin began “to change into a zombie” and tried to bite him. Police say Perry beat Paquin with his hands, feet, an electric guitar and a microwave. An electric guitar and a microwave?!?! Smh.
