We talk about the show around the office and opine on future events, but never, not once, have we thought about beating one of our co-workers to death after a heated discussion about Sasha and Michonne. Unfortunately, some folks are WAY too involved in the world of Rick Grimes and his band of murderous (wo)men. This story in the Santa Fe New Mexican is evidence of such obsessions: A New Mexico man who had been watching TV’s “The Walking Dead” says he fatally beat his friend before he could become a zombie. Grants police spokesman Moses Marquez said Sunday that 23-year-old Christopher Paquin was beaten and that 23-year-old Damon Perry is being held on a murder charge. Officers were called Thursday afternoon to an apartment complex where Perry was allegedly wielding a knife. They found Paquin’s body inside an apartment and maintenance workers detaining Perry. Perry told investigators they had been drinking when Paquin began “to change into a zombie” and tried to bite him. Police say Perry beat Paquin with his hands, feet, an electric guitar and a microwave. An electric guitar and a microwave?!?! Smh. Kasey Kahl: Arrested For Paint Thinner-Fueled Assault!

Former Bachelorette hopeful Kasey Kahl is back behind bars after police charged him with assault stemming from the guy (and girl) he beat up this year. While under the influence of PAINT THINNER, allegedly. More than half a year after the January 15 incident, TMZ says prosecutors finally decided there was evidence to charge Kasey Kahl with felony assault. Charges were filed and Kahl was arrested early Friday: Officials say Kahl was drunk and on drugs when he attacked a man, Richard Cheney, at a Fresno, Calif., club, after which Cheney says Kahl bashed his girlfriend’s face . Kahl, who also starred on 2011’s Bachelor Pad 2, has been charged with felony assault, battery with serious bodily injury, and drunken disorderliness . Police believe Kahl was under the influence of both alcohol and a drug called toluene – an inhalant associated with paint thinners – during the attack. Reps for the ex of Vienna Girardi have maintained he’s innocent and say the victims are “antagonizing” him in a bid to get “15 minutes of fame.”

Jenelle Evans stars on Teen Mom 2 ( watch the trailer here ) this January. Typical for a cast member of the MTV show, she’s had run-ins with the law. More than a few, in fact. Her arrest two months ago for breaking and entering and marijuana possession was the latest in a series of crazy police reports involving Janelle. Teen Mom 2 star Janelle Evans is the mother of 16 month old Jace. She was arrested back in October of this year for breaking and entering, marijuana possession and paraphernalia possession. Not a good combo. The Oak Island, N.C., native was busted breaking into someone else’s place and was released on a $2,000 bond. She is expected in court January 10. In October 2008, Jenelle was arrested for sneaking through a bedroom window to see her then-boyfriend and father of her baby, Andrew Lewis. According to the police report, she “continued to refuse to leave even after her mother attempted to take her home.” Jenelle Evans was arrested. Luckily for her, Andrew’s mom dropped the charges provided that “[Jenelle] must not come to house uninvited and leave at reasonable hour.” In December 2007, Jenelle ran away from home and her mom, Barbara, freaked out and called the police after her daughter fled home on foot. According to the report, Jenelle “became upset after she confronted her about being impaired” and she “did not know where Jenelle was going.” She was found at then-boyfriend Andrew’s house. Then, just one month ago, Jenelle was committed to Brunswick Community Hospital involuntarily after experiencing some sort of meltdown. A report claims after an examination “she was found not to be a threat to herself or anyone else” and was released early the next morning. As for Jace’s dad, her ex-boyfriend, Andrew, dude was arrested in 2008 for committing a misdemeanor against her, for which he was convicted. He also was arrested for a DUI in August 2009, which was the same month their son, Jace, was born. Never an encouraging sign. Needless to say … expect some drama this season.
