When the world learned that Jenelle Evans had regained custody of her kids , the most common reactions among longtime Teen Mom 2 viewers were as follows: Shock Disgust. Some felt that the Teen Mom 2 terror was coercing her son into engaging in an activity that he wasn’t enjoying. That’s the best-case scenario. Others took their accusations a step further and alleged that Jenelle was holding the poor boy underwater. Why? So that she might snap a photo proving how much “fun” he’s having since being returned to his mother? Two-year-old Ensley has been removed from her care and returned to the Easons, per the judge’s decision. “The Columbus County judge did a great injustice to these children,” the elder Evans said at the time. “Jace was very upset and didn’t want to go so I didn’t send him back.” Jenelle, of course, was overjoyed by the decision, and she’s repeatedly broadcasted her giddy glee on social media: “I am ecstatic to regain custody of my kids back!” she told People magazine last week after the stunning reversal. “Throughout this long process and final decision, I am excited to be moving forward and continuing to show America I’m a good parent.” Yeah … Many have argued that she’s proven the opposite in the short time that the kids have been back in her care. Whatever the case, the days since the judge’s controversial dismissal have certainly been eventful. Following a police report indicating that she faked the murder of her pet dog as part of a publicity stunt, Jenelle tried to clear the air. Last week, Diddy had the Internets on fire when he asked his followers if they were into the idea of the reality competition series’ return. Along with nostalgia for seeing aspiring artists walk all the way to Brooklyn for some cheesecake (the original premiered back in 2002), the overwhelming response was basically, Hell yes. Diddy made the announcement via Instagram, obviously, and even began by bigging up Seth Rogen and Wale for sparking the idea. “I know that I’m going to build the biggest bands in the world,” said Diddy while reminiscing about the fun times he had with the show that launched acts including Danity Kane, Day26, Da Band and Donnie Klang. But this time he’s doing a global talent search. The Internets makes that easier. “I’ve made my decision… #MakingTheBand is coming back!!! This will be a global talent search, upload your auditions now using #MTBcasting!!,” reads the caption of Diddy’s video announcement. “We couldn’t be happier to welcome back the incomparable Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to his rightful home at MTV,” said Nina L. Amber Portwood may have already made her final appearance on MTV. The embattled reality star has not made any public statements in about two weeks, not since she was arrested on three felony counts of domestic assault after allegedly attacking boyfriend Andrew Glennon . According to the latest report, producers will absolutely, positively give Amber the axe if it is proven that she wielded a machete in her July 5 attack against Glennon. It’s true: In case you are just catching up on this wild and disturbing story, Portwood was arrested the morning after July Fourth because she supposedly blamed Glennon for the couple and its one-year old son, James, missing a fireworks show due to an abundance of traffic. She then hurled a shoe at Glennon while he was cradling James — and has admitted to this act. And she then took a giant sword and tried to break into the bathroom where Andrew was hiding with James — although she has denied this act. Portwood’s costars — Maci Bookout,Catelynn Lowell and Cheyenne Floyd — did, of course, travel to The Big Apple without her. And so did the 29-year-old’s ex-fiance, Gary Shirley, with whom she shares daughter Leah, 10, Us Weekly reports. “Gary was asked about the situation and he was very diplomatic,” the tabloid reveals. “They have a nice relationship now.” Inside a courtroom at the aforementioned hearing on July 10, Portwood was ordered to stay away from both Glennon and her baby son. This makes a lot of legal sense when you consider the allegations against her. According to court documents, the MTV personality really did possess a machete during the fight with Glennon, who was holding their 14-month-old and trying to keep him safe during the assault. “[Amber] struck the machete at and into a door, while Andrew Glennon was standing directly on the other side of the door, that created a substantial risk of bodily injury to Andrew Glennon,” the documentss read. As of this writing, Portwood is staying with her mom and trying to figure out what to do next, in a personal, professional and legal sense. She has starred on Teen Mom OG since its premierei n 2009 and was also arrested for domestic assault (of Shirley) in 2010, a crime for which she eventually spent 17 months behind bars. The 42-year-old, who suffered a traumatic brain injury and massive concussion, opened up about the difficult recovery process, including thr nightmares she has. “It comes back in dreams—the sounds of metal scraping on the pavement, which is one of the most horrible sounds in the world,” she told Essence. The accident also worsened her depression and led to her contemplating suicide. “It was the most frightening experience of my entire life because I truly could not see tomorrow. It was this weird sensation of almost dry drowning, which is an awful feeling.” Ford also suffered a fractured skull and bleeding on her brain. While recovering mentally and physically, Ford found her way back into the gym.
